The Argus have forgotten to mention that the Crowborough military camp also hosts the regional training centre for Sussex Army Cadet Force where thousands of children and young adults benefit from first class facilities that extend the cadet forces ability to deliver training and events that go a long way in the development of those involved. What risk assessment has been done to protect this training centre and those young adults that use it, or has it just been deemed acceptable and that those involved in the ACF just have to roll over and accept this. Given the historical issues that this group of people have posed in other areas of the country (Epping) surely something needs to be said. What do the people of have to say? What does the Office for Veterans' Affairs and Al Carns MP have to say, given that the Army Cadets UK falls under his purview?? There will be parents and volunteers that give up so much of their time to help run the many cadet units across East and West Sussex that need answers. Just announcing this kind of news is not good enough.
