We're so pleased our Barney & Echo Mindfulness project will be reaching 450 children across Shropshire, with the support of the McPhillips Community Fund and Shropshire Community Foundation!

Great to see our McPhillips Community Fund making such a positive impact! 🌟

Through our partnership with Shropshire Community Foundation , we've supported Amber Bee CIC's brilliant Barney & Echo Mindfulness and Mental Wellbeing Project, reaching 450 children across five local primary schools including John Randall Primary School and Holmer Lake Primary School .

It's fantastic to see Year 6 pupils equipped with the tools they need to manage emotional challenges during their transition to secondary school - from interactive storybooks to mindfulness resources that they can share with their families.

3 things you can do to have a more sustainable summer:

1. Build a bug hotel with your children, to encourage bio diversity in your garden
2. Cook a meal with seasonal veg, try sourcing them from a local farm shop if you have one close by
3. Buy a boardgame from the charity shop and have a games night with the family!
