At Gift Wrapped Media we produce podcasts, community radio shows, and bespoke podcast training. As result Gift Wrapped Radio was born.
We also produce personalised radio shows as birthday gifts for someone you love, through our Gift Wrapped Radio production team. About Us
A few years ago, we were challenged to produce a birthday gift with a difference for a friend in the industry. Afterwards we thought it would be a great idea to produce special radio shows dedicated to one special person as a gift. Since then, we have produced
unique birthday gift CDs on a regular basis for family and friends. Now we are adding a bonus on-line version to accompany the CD, so you can listen to your show wherever you are. So, if you want a unique birthday gift for someone in your family, A Gift Wrapped Radio Show is perfect. With your dedications each show combines music, messages and memories which the lucky person can treasure forever, either by turning on their CD player or just going on-line to hear it again and again. If you want a unique birthday gift for someone then come to Gift Wrapped Radio,…we’ve got birthdays all wrapped up! Our Packages
What are the packages? We offer 3 packages based on the length of each show. Silver Disc - 6 – 10 dedications and a maximum of 6 songs. Maximum length 35 minutes. £39
Gold Disc – 11-13 dedications and a maximum of 9 songs. Maximum length 45 minutes. £49
Platinum Disc – 14- 20 dedications and a maximum of 11 songs. Maximum length 60 minutes. £59
FAQ’s
What happens after I sign up? We ask you to do one thing and it all works through whatsapp or messenger. Basically, we ask you to set up a group that includes our details too. Then we can send messages to those people via the group and they can leave their own messages or sound files on the whatsapp page for us to collect. The whatsapp/messenger group is the only place where we will contact the members of the group
When it comes time to record, we download all the soundfiles and texts, then your presenter takes them into the studio to use them in the show.

In celebration of 100 years of the BBC Shipping Forecast, The Strettons Podcast brings you a special issue for the local area.

This is the final edition before our extended summer break and it is focussed on as many summer activities as possible. The ideas I this; that the harassed parents out there have something up their sleeve between July and August when the kids are at their most ‘engaging’ let’s say. So, Jess is back with her hacks, we have an update from the library and some ideas for getting the kids into gardening and lots more. Plus, we have the scams, briefing notes and a funny fact from our local MP.
What’s more as this is the last one for the time being it will be staying up on soundcloud and the village website for the next few weeks so there is plenty of time to remind yourself of things to do if the long summer days get a bit hairy and the paddling pool won’t cut it. See you in the autumn.

As another Fire Engine bombs down the A143, and in the light of the current dry conditions, this edition has a water theme as we re-meet Bethanie Kennedy who runs Anglia Water’s Priority Services register.
Later on, Dave Chaplin gives us a short ‘happy’ story about water pollution and diphtheria in Horringer. And if you want to find a cure for your thirst then Tyrone lets slip where Greene King’s private Fire Brigade could help us to find the solution.
The Horringer Pod …. refreshing the parts other pods cannot reach!

Here's the repeat of Sunday's 'Late Night Love Songs' show. If your week is getting you down, why not listen to one of our 'love facts', like this one...
Romantic desire starts in the brain! Did you know that
people feel their attraction towards someone based on the activity in specific areas of their brain. Sometimes this judgment can take a couple of seconds, while sometimes, it takes longer.

This edition has a golden couture theme this week as we find out about a unique and special dress which is on display at Ickworth this summer; while the golden tread continues as we remind ourselves of a glorious summer when we meet again the team who created the sunflower field last summer, which will be returning this year.

And here's our other show, full of great tunes and facts such as this...Did you know that .... 'Being in love is like being high on drugs?
Many researchers have found that being in love gives you the same feeling as being on drugs. Love can make you do things that feel irrational, things that you never thought you would do'

Hello and welcome to your latest copy of the Horringer Podcast. I hope you are well.
In this edition we spend some quality time with one of our favourite people as Eve Greygoose is back with her scrapbook, and we’re not talking about her friendship with Gerry Marsden, the Beatles or her legendary performance at the Brits, but instead we learn about 2 other pop legends whom Eve just happened to know; while our archive piece sees us jumping on a rickshaw.

Each week we play new music, indigenous tunes, and classic pop from across the planet and across the decades.
Regular features include the:
classic cover song in another language
current number 1 in another country,
album of the week; as well as gig guides and dedications.
We tailor the show to people who are interested in music from around the world, but who are not sure where to start, so we mix easy listening with the esoteric.
It’s called the Gap Year Show because I have been collecting music on my travels since my own gap year many decades ago; and I love introducing people to artists who never get the chance to be played on mainstream radio.
I also adore discovering new music, and I would love to know what you have heard on your travels. Just leave a request here or at [email protected]
