Gift Wrapped Radio At Gift Wrapped Media we produce podcasts, community radio shows, and bespoke podcast training. As result Gift Wrapped Radio was born.

We also produce personalised radio shows as birthday gifts for someone you love, through our Gift Wrapped Radio production team. About Us

A few years ago, we were challenged to produce a birthday gift with a difference for a friend in the industry. Afterwards we thought it would be a great idea to produce special radio shows dedicated to one special person as a gift. Since then, we have produced

unique birthday gift CDs on a regular basis for family and friends. Now we are adding a bonus on-line version to accompany the CD, so you can listen to your show wherever you are. So, if you want a unique birthday gift for someone in your family, A Gift Wrapped Radio Show is perfect. With your dedications each show combines music, messages and memories which the lucky person can treasure forever, either by turning on their CD player or just going on-line to hear it again and again. If you want a unique birthday gift for someone then come to Gift Wrapped Radio,…we’ve got birthdays all wrapped up! Our Packages

What are the packages? We offer 3 packages based on the length of each show. Silver Disc - 6 – 10 dedications and a maximum of 6 songs. Maximum length 35 minutes. £39

Gold Disc – 11-13 dedications and a maximum of 9 songs. Maximum length 45 minutes. £49

Platinum Disc – 14- 20 dedications and a maximum of 11 songs. Maximum length 60 minutes. £59

FAQ’s

What happens after I sign up? We ask you to do one thing and it all works through whatsapp or messenger. Basically, we ask you to set up a group that includes our details too. Then we can send messages to those people via the group and they can leave their own messages or sound files on the whatsapp page for us to collect. The whatsapp/messenger group is the only place where we will contact the members of the group

When it comes time to record, we download all the soundfiles and texts, then your presenter takes them into the studio to use them in the show.

Hello and welcome to your latest copy of the Horringer Podcast. I hope you are well.
In this edition we have the second part of our interview with Anita Rooney as we learn about the rather complicated journey she undertook before becoming our very popular rector.
We are packed with local information and diary dates so this edition will not have the usual archive piece but we will have a visit from the King … Elvis

Hello, this edition is focussed on Harvest time with the bonus that our first guest is Anita Rooney our new Rector. Then Gerald and Dave remind us of Haymaking at Ickworth in the old days before Heather gives us one of her seasonal chats on the same theme.

So it's all things bright and beautiful this week, as we gather around that big Sheath of corn for this week's pod.

In this edition we are celebrating activities on 2 and 4 wheels as Daisy reflects on a brilliant project which came to fruition this year at Ickworth. Plus, Gerald Curtis reminds us of Horringer’s speed demons of the past as well as the 4th Marquis’ love of a bike.
Plus we have the scams and the briefing notes, so let’s slip into top gear feel the wind in our hair and freewheel into the wide blue yonder as we get on with the pod.

Hello and welcome to your latest copy of the Horringer Podcast. I hope you are well.
We are back after the summer break, but the next 2 (slightly shorter) pods are a bit different.
This is mainly because we are dusting off some recordings we produced for the Edinburgh Fringe festival which we thought you might like and secondly, we have so many events coming up in the next few weeks that we thought we would get things under way sooner rather than later. So we hope to see you at many of them in the next few weeks.

Had a lovely time at the Aldeburgh Carnival yesterday as part of ABC Radio's Outside Broadcast. We produced a live 3 hour show and my bits can be found after half an hour at 31:30 as I host the Movie Quiz, and later on I interviewed a gentleman with a long tradition of working at funfairs. This can be located at 1:20:53.
It was such a great experience.

Recently, I was asked to record a very local Shipping Forecast for the excellent Church Stretton Podcast. Here is the result. Thanks to Sian and the team for invovling me.

In celebration of 100 years of the BBC Shipping Forecast, The Strettons Podcast brings you a special issue for the local area.

This is the final edition before our extended summer break and it is focussed on as many summer activities as possible. The ideas I this; that the harassed parents out there have something up their sleeve between July and August when the kids are at their most ‘engaging’ let’s say. So, Jess is back with her hacks, we have an update from the library and some ideas for getting the kids into gardening and lots more. Plus, we have the scams, briefing notes and a funny fact from our local MP.
What’s more as this is the last one for the time being it will be staying up on soundcloud and the village website for the next few weeks so there is plenty of time to remind yourself of things to do if the long summer days get a bit hairy and the paddling pool won’t cut it. See you in the autumn.

As another Fire Engine bombs down the A143, and in the light of the current dry conditions, this edition has a water theme as we re-meet Bethanie Kennedy who runs Anglia Water’s Priority Services register.
Later on, Dave Chaplin gives us a short ‘happy’ story about water pollution and diphtheria in Horringer. And if you want to find a cure for your thirst then Tyrone lets slip where Greene King’s private Fire Brigade could help us to find the solution.
The Horringer Pod …. refreshing the parts other pods cannot reach!

Hello and welcome to your latest copy of the Horringer Podcast. I hope you are well.
In one of our series of international podcasts, this edition sheds light on a lesser known but positive ray of hope in Gaza.
Plus, we have the usual local news, a message from Heather with a middle eastern link and John is always on hand to lighten the mood as he remembers an explosion of another type from Oscar Dixon's life as our village bobby. You can listen to the latest episode by opening this link,

Hello and welcome to your latest copy of the Horringer Podcast. I hope you are well.
This edition is rooted in the world of forestry as we discover how Ickworth’s rangers are working to save young trees during this extended dry spring and early summer, while later on we meet George Curtis whose dad the legendary Jack was head Forester for 50 years and someone who survived a few lucky escapes whilst up in the Forest canopy

Romantic desire starts in the brain! Did you know that
people feel their attraction towards someone based on the activity in specific areas of their brain. Sometimes this judgment can take a couple of seconds, while sometimes, it takes longer.
