Little shoot yesterday You wouldn’t notice the noise of the air-con and fridges unless you are recording audio - which I was! When I worked for the BBC, a great soundman’s trick was to leave their car keys in the fridge if they turned it off. That way, when they retrieved them, they remembered to turn it back on! Luckily I didn’t have to do it myself - thanks for turning them off for me!

A big thank you to and for showing me Outlaws: Fashion Renegades of 80s London thru their eyes. I loved hearing the stories behind the clothes. Martin went to incredible lengths in gathering so many iconic looks burnt into my mind from the pages of and pop videos. Massive thanks for the opportunity 😍

Watched last night with an open mouth at both the drive of amazing and the lack forward thinking from the fashion industry when her and director began shooting. Loved the fabulous QandA from As a passionate film maker with a deep appreciation of the creative process, I wondered how dealt with the additional pressure of being filmed while she sought a sustainable route to fashion”s future. Quite rightly, her focus was on finding the solution and not worrying about the film. Brilliant work by the director. Thank you for letting my daughter have a photo with you Amy. You are an inspiration.

Meet Lucy. Star of She was already a resident at warehouse before the amazing took it over and turned it into studios. Amazing photographer snapped the iconic image but Lucy stole the show. When I worked there, she was old but often sat on my desk while I cracked out scripts for I like the album, but loved this little cat.

Oh look! It’s me! So enjoyed lecturing the M.A. course at this morning on fashion film. Bringing It Alive was the title and is the key to using film to show fashion. Thank you for having me and the lovely students.

So sad to hear of the passing of the unique fashion doyenne I’m surprised I can only find a photo of the back of her but here she is surrounded by icons of fashion I was working on or when I snapped this. She was omnipresent whether we were filming front row or backstage and at every party - and always ready to give us a sound bite and to share her insight, enthusiasm and unique slant on the fashion world. I interviewed her so many times and she always felt like she was living double the speed everyone else was such was her enthusiasm. Thanks for your time, Hilary. X

I was privileged to interview numerous times after her shows but this photo was at a party with a suitably saucy dress code. After my first post-fashion show interview, while working on Tv fashion show , she asked her P.R. who I was as she liked my questions so much. Very proud to have heard her ground-breaking views on fashion’s role in society and the importance of understanding the historical references in her designs. The Dame is dead. Long live anarchy.
