This is a hard pill to swallow 😢
Have you ever met someone for the 1st time and it felt like you've known this person all of your life? Well Cardo, you were one of them.
After years of constant nagging from one of my team members to link up with you, I finally gave in and to be honest, I regret not doing it earlier. ( yeah, it's a man thing. We rarely listen to women.😓😓). I recall vividly our 1st conversation. We spoke for AGES about all sorts (politics and all 🤣🤣🤣). You were very supportive of our platform and insightful across various things. An ABSOLUTE SOLDIER when it comes to our culture and a MASTER of your craft. We planned to have that much anticipated sit down to talk about your legendary journey, but we kept rescheduling ( couldn't sync our windows)
My favourite memory of your talent (hard choice),was Jamaica Carnival 23. You ABSOLUTELY ROCKED THE PLACE. 👏
It's clear that you've touched and influenced the masses, as EVERYBODY talks about how you laid the blueprint on djing and how to rock the dance.
When news broke of your poor health, we were all worried. G, we just wanted you to get better, so you could play again, so we all could dance again. I guess you got tired of waiting and decided to go home 😞😞😞😞.
Well, now G, you're on a bigger stage in the sky.
So bro, do yuh thing. Keep playing your music. Rest assured, we ALL would be listening.
