Success for the first "Mabli Cariad Hall" Fun Week.
After the dust has settled on the Fun week. We take a look at what we raised for many causes.
The week itself was fantastic and was supported throughout, from Bingo to darts and pool to the curry and quiz night. A massive thank you to everyone that supported the events that we put on throughout the week.
We managed to raise the following monies for each of these causes.
The Big Raffle Raised:
Cylch Meithrin - £275
Friendiau Ysgol Ger Y Llan - £275
Clwb Ysgol Ger Y Llan - £275
Programme Sales
Letterston Football Club sold the programmes for the event by door knocking around the village and managed to raise £851.50 to help run the club for next season
Bingo Night
We managed to raise £500 for Fishguard Thunderbolts
3 nights in Benidorm - Animal Rescue ARC Animal Rescue Cymru
We managed to raise £1350 for our fantastic partners who help every year put the event on and that money will go towards a "Dog Play Area" that the dogs that have been rescued can use to exercise.
We will also be making a donation to The 2 Wish charity in the memory of Mabli.
I would like to thank everyone that helped, donated, bought a raffle supported the event or even shared a post to promote it, dioch yn fawr! Thank you also to Giles and the team at The Harp that worked tirelessly to make the week a success.
Lastly I would like to thank all the advertisers that put an add in programme or the screen in the Harp over the week, without your help and contribution we would not be able to make this event happen.
The date for next year is 11th July, make a note of it in the diary as next year will be bigger and better than ever.
