Someone recently said to me:
āI admire how you build it first and refine it later.ā
I laughed because theyāre absolutely right.
For years, I thought that was one of my biggest weaknesses.
Iād have an idea, test it, change it, test it again, tweak it, improve it.
I assumed everyone else had a perfectly polished plan before they ever launched anything.
Now Iām not so sure.
Konpasu wasnāt born fully formed.
Neither was the Commercial Growth Report.
The Konpasu Community has evolved.
Even the Partnership Framework Iām building now is the result of conversations, observations and lessons learned along the way.
None of them started perfect.
They started with purpose.
Every client taught me something.
Every networking event revealed a new pattern.
Every workshop refined the next one.
Every conversation nudged the compass a little closer to true north.
Iāve realised that building first isnāt the opposite of planning.
Itās planning with evidence instead of assumptions.
Too often we wait for certainty before we take the first step.
But certainty rarely comes first.
Clarity does.
And clarity usually arrives through doing.
So if youāve been sitting on an idea because it isnāt quite finished...
Maybe donāt wait for perfection.
Start the conversation.
Listen.
Learn.
Refine.
The best businesses arenāt built because someone had all the answers on day one.
Theyāre built because someone was willing to ask better questions on day two.
