Pre op done ✅️

Fascinating chat with my nurse specialist today ahead of tomorrow’s op. I have a very narrow pulmonary artery; a previous stent put in when I was 16 has re-narrowed so tomorrow I undergo a procedure to see if they can put a new stent in to expand the artery to help with blood flow to the lungs.
These photos are of the stent before and after expansion!
Dependant on what they find on investigation tomorrow it might not be beneficial for me to get the stent. But regardless, I am feeling positive and grateful to be in such safe hands! See you on the other side!
