As a former GP, I know what it’s like to feel buried under an impossible workload, stretched too thin, and constantly worried you’re not doing enough. I’ve been there, and I know how isolating it can feel. But it doesn’t have to be that way. I spent over a decade teaching and mentoring at the University of Cambridge, whe

re I was the Assistant Director for GP Studies and developed their Professionalism Course. And over the last 9 years I’ve led resilience and wellbeing training with thousands of doctors and other health and social care professionals both online, live and face to face for Primary Care Training Hubs, NHS Acute Trusts, ICSs, NHS England / Health Education England, Community Health Trusts, Mental Health Trusts and Doctors in Training. My experiences both as a GP and working with frontline staff led me to create the Shapes Toolkit® - a simple, practical system designed for professionals in high-pressure roles to help you regain control, manage your workload, and protect your well-being.
