Salam Alaikum everyone, I’ve been seeing a lot of posts about where to boycott and asking where to boycott. My post is not to discredit posts and those who have had the best of intentions when raising awareness about this matter. Rather check the source of the information which is what I’ve had to do. It rules out disinformation, provides accuracy and peace of mind. I’m on a mission to help raise awareness on the effectivity of boycotting brands that are funding the genocide that has been inflicted on Palestine for the past 75 years and counting. I can share with you what I and my family do to help with this in Sha Allah life long cause. The BDS (boycott divestment and sanctions) movement is perhaps the best non-violent, effortless participation in helping our people of Palestine and her plight.
https://boycott.thewitness.news is a good site to check all brands to boycott. Not fully comprehensive so I still suggest doing your own research.
I’m focusing on supermarkets that can have an impact. Starting with a list of ones to avoid and alternatives to go to.
For now I can share what I know and am doing. In my household we have boycotted with reason stated:
❌ Tesco (Profits are funded towards 🇮🇱 tech startups)
❌ Asda (Walmart is still a major shareholder don’t be fooled by the Muslim brother ownership)
❌ Marks & Spencer food (pro-Zionist 🇮🇱 since inception)
❌ Lidl
UPDATE 14/12/2023 and also notified boycott.thewitness.news:
❌ Sainsburys
Reason for boycott: Blackrock has 6% share in sainsburys shareholders. BlackRock is a New York City-based investment company that has massive investments in Israel and in companies including Lockheed Martin, RTX, Northrop Grumman, Boeing, and General Dynamics that make the weapons Israel uses to murder Palestinians. BlackRock inc also has offices set up in occupied Palestine Tel aviv.
Its CEO, Larry Fink, is also an outspoken supporter of the apartheid regime in Israel and is cheering on a regional war. When the Biden administration deployed a nuclear-powered aircraft carrier to the region last month to threaten war against Iran, Fink called it “a spectacular statement by the United States.”

The ones we DO shop at:
✅ Aldi UK
✅ Morrisons
✅ Iceland
✅ Coop.
Although majority supermarkets stock Israeli goods like many other medium to small grocery/convenience stores, it’s down to us the consumer to boycott them. The success of these 🇮🇱 brands are down to sales and when sales are down then it impacts the supply and demand. Which will have a knock on effect to then force the retailer (big or small) to not stock the products because they don’t sell/deemed unpopular to repurchase.
