🔥 Burnout is REAL - and guess what?
Social media doesn’t come with an off switch
(Trust me, I’ve tried)
I’m a Social Media Manager
I bloody love what I do
But I’m not gonna pretend it’s all Canva templates and TikTok trends
❌ The pressure to be on 24/7
📲 Clients expecting instant replies to every ping, post & panic
🧠 A brain that NEVER shuts up
🌧️ And when the weather’s miserable and the days are dark - it hits different....Harder!
Honestly? I struggle with my mental health(but you all know that)
And when I’m supposed to be this always-on, endlessly-creative, algorithm-slaying machine…
Some days, it’s just.... too.... much!
💥 You can love this job and still feel absolutely drained by it
Here’s what I’ve learned (and am still learning… badly):
🚫 You don’t have to be “on” all the time
Log out.... Mute the apps.... Nothing explodes if you reply tomorrow
📅 Batch it. Schedule it. WALK AWAY
Not every post has to be a last-minute masterpiece
📣 Say “no” or “not right now”
(I’m still working on this one, but damn it’s important)
💬 Talk to people who get it
Don’t suffer in silence, This job is chaos - but you don’t have to carry it alone!
🧘♀️ Do one thing every day that doesn’t involve a screen
Seriously.... Your brain will thank you 🖤

This industry is wild, Wonderful Unhinged, Exhausting...
