Lights, Camera, Panels!

On Tuesday, our Director Jordan had the pleasure of filming for Commercial Panels & Pressings Ltd, capturing the magic of panel assembly - yes, it’s more exciting than it sounds!

From punching holes (precisely, not in frustration) to insulation assembly, we got up close and personal with the entire process for an upcoming exhibition display.

This Monday, Our Managing Director, Jordan, had the fantastic opportunity to visit the University of Northampton and connect with the talented Creative Film students, alongside Azim Miah and Laurance Maybury.

We dived into an insightful discussion about life after university and navigating the path into the industry.

It was inspiring to hear their perspectives on the challenges and opportunities ahead. We can’t wait to see where their creativity takes them next! 🚀

There’s something powerful about being in an environment that allows you the space to think, reflect, and gain clarity.

Working out in Portugal last year was an incredible experience as it gave me fresh energy and perspective.

So, I decided to return here to kick off 2025, surrounded by the same inspiring people and amazing memories.

It’s the perfect backdrop to set meaningful goals and build momentum for an exciting year ahead.

Let me introduce you to my second full time job 💙

On April 18th 2016, my life changed… I was at secondary school in Year 8 and after school I had a doctor’s appointment.

My family had concerns over some symptoms I was showing:
🥤 Increased thirst
⚖️ Weight loss
😴 Tiredness
🚽 Frequent urination

My uncle had type 1 diabetes but I had no clue what it meant, or how it was about to change my life.

I was taken into hospital after the doctor’s appointment where I was told I have type 1 diabetes. I spent a week in the hospital understanding and learning more about the condition.

I was a scared 13 year old, fearing the worst hearing all the facts. At the time I was injecting insulin 4 times minimum a day and pricking my finger at least 8 times a day.

8 years on and thanks to the technological advancements, I now have an insulin pump that injects for me giving me better control.

I have a sensor on my arm to read my blood glucose, a game changer for when I’m on video shoots.

I’m bring this all up as today is World Diabetes Day. As tough as this condition gets sometimes, it’s made me who I am today. It’s another full time job for me, but I love it.

I love problem solving, and that’s basically what type 1 diabetes is. From exercise to stress, it all has an effect on my blood glucose!

So if you ever see me at an event and I’m drinking Lucozade or eating sweets… I’m stopping a low blood sugar I’m not really hungry or thirsty 🤣

Another Timelapse in motion! ⏰

This morning I’ve setup another timelapse camera, this time it’s for a garden landscape project.

This is the same model camera being used for the market square construction currently. This project is a short one compared to the current market square works being only 4 weeks long.

Looking forward to seeing the results!

Tonight I’ve been capturing the private launch event for Michael Jones Jeweller’s referbished store on Gold Street 💍

The store looks amazing! I think my camera had a mind of its own at one point 🤔⌚️

Looking forward to cutting this one together, great to work with Daniel Owens from as always.

I’ve been a little quiet on my social channels recently, so I thought I would bring them back to life and share what I’ve been up to!!

The Market Square project is entering its final few months now, the Brinno camera has held up amazingly and the footage looks great. More to come on that soon!

I was down in London last weekend filming an event with James Warren 📸. Capturing sound bites and footage for an event summary video.

My new toy! I’m a tech head at heart so anything new that involves technology always gets me excited 😂 (Thank you to Suzanne for capturing me in the moment!)

This morning Steve Scarsbrook started his LEJOG challenge. I traveled down last night to be with Esther & Steve to capture the start of the journey this morning 🚴🏼

It’s all in the prep 🔨🎬

It’s that time again where I’m preparing to film a night of charity boxing, put on by the amazing team .

But to cover such an event, it’s not as easy as turning up on the day and pressing record! The event requires multiple camera and those cameras have batteries, they also need data cards.

So prep starts way before the night to ensure everything is working how it should be. By doing so I’m able to deliver a high quality video to the foundation, but also the fighters who are competing on the night!
