At Herts Design and Creative Services we are extremely proud to have supported the Les Ward Captains Charity day in aid of Brain Tumour Research, at Chesfield Downs. This is a charity close to our hearts with our friend Alex Pendleton passing away last year from this terrible illness.

It was a fantastic day with beautiful weather, some good golf and great to see Sarah Pendleton and Victoria Pendleton helping out on the day keeping the golfers hydrated, which was very much appreciated! 🥵

Special thanks for the donations from Arsenal, Stevenage Football Club, Kitchen Ergonomics, PING Golf Europe, Callaway Golf, TaylorMade Golf, Harmony & Balance, Annette Graham, Design it Dave, Weatherspoons Stevenage, Cara Ward, Willobys, Hair by Lexie.

D-Day June 6th 1944, thousands of soldier on the first boats didn't live to see the end of the day, some of them never made it to their 19th birthday, some never fell in love, or had the opportunity to have children. They never voted, owned a home, or ever saw their parents again, please take a moment to think about that. They paid the ultimate price for our freedom.

We will remember them.
