I’m thinking of a rebrand but I need your help 🫵

I can’t change the name of this page without reaching 200 likes.

I’m debating starting from scratch all over again and using this and the old band pages to reshare information if it’s proven easier.

♦️I have plans for The Loyal Kind to become a collective.

♦️CORAL SUN will come to an end. (We continued with the name as had gigs booked in so it was easier for promoters) 🪸☀️

I’m wanting to go solo but still have band supporting me at times for bigger gigs.

It’s been a tough learning curve this year with all the changes and braving being the front woman but I feel more than ready.

This does mean that I’m on the look out for musicians that would like to work with me.

I’ll be on the lookout for guitarists/bassist/painist to accompany me, to learn my original songs and a bundle of covers we could play in the more “pub” environment.

It’s still early days but I’m already working on a release plan.

The genre I write is fairly soft rock, in general. There’s a few songs I currently like to kick on a little distortion but nothing too heavy with my writing style.

Having the Katana MKII head has made recording rough guitar tracks all the more easier straight out of the back and it still sounds fantastic. The only thing I’ve found to be missing is resonance and feedback but that’s for the real deal when I want to run it through the cab, not a quick guide take.

Either way, this is going to be super helpful to get some decent sounding demos down for CORAL SUN to push new ideas through faster!

Great to see my gear working nicely, had a tester day with Hedgehog Reality last month which went very well and helped iron out any problems I may come across. All noted of course, as well as any other ideas that came to mind…

Quick set up and a chilled afternoon of recording, food and good conversation - Thanks again to Terry and Liz for the great food and books!

5 inputs working here, although we could have stretched it 16 if we really wanted too 😅

Sorry I’ve been quite again on this page. Just not an awful lot happening at the moment.

I’ve Finally gotten around to tidying up properly. Been a bit of a work in progress since new year. Couldn’t move in here before Christmas with all the pressies!

In other news, I’m glad I’m able to play guitar again without being in pain! 😣 (had a problem with one of my fingers for the last month and it’s finally healing properly)
