MY 9 FAVOURITE THINGS ABOUT MY LIVING ROOM 🛋️🪩📺

Not to brag (I’m totally bragging!) but I ADORE our living room after giving it a makeover late last year. It was a race to get it ready for Christmas with our sofa arriving on the 22nd December, and new pieces being added as we find them (can afford them) but it’s become such a special and loved room.

I’ve gone balls to the wall with colours in our downstairs loo and bedroom, but this room needed a different approach, and I’m so glad we stuck to a neutral colour drenched bass with colourful POPS! 💥

Luckily I’m better at choosing front door colours and friends than I am creating bespoke jokes for this page ha ha. Choosing friends because this doormat was a gift from two of them for my bday and I love it. 😍

Swipe for some of the beautiful details at the front of my house which make my heart sing whenever I come home. Transforming the front door with Citrine Green was such a good decision! If you swipe all the way to the end you can see what we started with. Doormat from the ever stylish ! ❤️

WOOOHOOO YEEEEHHOOOO! 🍊

Well ZING BABY! This downstairs loo that we installed in wasted understair storage space still packs a real punch, and I still completely love it! These photos are not filtered in anyway, this is a true representation of the colour vibrancy. And yes, sunglasses are available for those that need them 😆

It’s a bargain paint called Valencia in case anyone wonders! ❤️ I love the surprise pop from our very bland, currently untouched hallway. We’ll get to decorating it one day! 👀

Can you now see why this room totally deserved an opening party with a ribbon cutting? 🤣

SOMETIMES I WONDER . . .

Am I into interiors purely because I like shopping and ticking things off a giant to do list?! 🤣

They’re kinda the best bits eh? Ha ha. Oh and when people come over and tell you you’ve got great taste and they can’t believe how much you’ve done since you’ve lived there. That’s a fab feeling too eh? Ha ha.

It’s the final day of pride month, and I would not be honouring my community, or be using this platform properly if I did not acknowledge how important this month still is, and that the protest for the LGBTQIA+ community still rages on. GARDEN SPRUCE UP PART TWO 🪴
. . and we’re off! I barely recognise myself . . . In welly’s? With a power tool (does a jet washer count?) in my hand, and with muddy legs? It’s a whole new series of content from HATTATGARDEN and I’m still working out if I’m enjoying it or not. Ha ha.

Watch till the end for very satisfying jet washing shots and a great pair of legs (if I do say so myself!) 🤣

I LOVE STUFF (lamp) 💡

So I was buying a birthday card for my uncle recently and saw one that said ‘did you know the 90’s was thirty years ago, I bet that makes you feel old!’ And suddenly felt old myself! This ‘vintage’ cloud lamp that I bought recently from (swipe to see it on the stall I got it from) is from the 90’s itself. And now counts as a vintage buy! But does it? Ha ha. Really made me wonder what really counts as ‘vintage’?!

Either way, I really like, and am really glad I picked it up. It adds a fun campy twist to this corner of my living room that I think it needed. Someone said it feels very ‘toy story’ and I can’t unsee that now! 🤣❤️

SOFA SUNDAYYYY 💤

After a busy few weeks with lots going on, it’s been so lovely to have a weekend here at home. And with the weather seemingly slipping back to wet and grey, holing up on here all day yesterday has been dreamy.

Oh and I was also very hungover 🤣👀 (see my stories for why ha ha)

So glad I went for this beautiful bright colour for the cuddler, it makes me smile everyday. A neutral wall with pops of colour just hits every time . . . ❤️

The Story Of My HATED Fireplace Makeover 👀

I get it TINA* it’s not for you, but it is for me, so get over it! 🤣 This painted red fireplace, in my bedroom, which has pink walls and a pink ceiling really seems to annoy some people. So much so that they have previously called me a clown, say I’ve gone too far, and that I’ve ruined it! ‘But daddy I love him!’ 🤣

I still adore my master bedroom and love my bold red fireplace - have a swipe to see what it looked like before, how I transformed it, and stick to the end to see some of the comments from the haters 🤣 I guess they’re just jealous? 🤣
