Author and cook Abby Allen has a special love for autumn, a season she says is all about engaging the senses: “Harvest is all about making a judgement, connecting to and understanding the land to reap the benefits.” 🍂
As featured in our current issue, her Harvest Minestrone (pictured, taken from her book 'The Farm Kitchen') is the perfect example - a hearty mix of onions, leeks, kale, carrots, pumpkins, peas, corn and more. It’s a celebration of seasonal abundance, simple to make and just as good frozen for those frosty winter days.
