Not read this yet, but I want to.

We have in the family and it is a fascinating subject. Many women aren't diagnosed until later in life, if ever. They fall through the cracks of the male dominated research world. I've worked on a film with a young woman who ended up in psychosis after years of misdiagnosis, eating disorders, self-harming etc. That is what happens to women who struggle to bridge the gap between their and the mainstream expectations of them.

It looks like a great book, which is why I've put it on my 'wish to read list' (hint my birthday is approaching in October). But more than this, I'd like more women to write their stories too.

Green Lane Films has been morphing into Green Lane Media as I expand into photography and short form video, as well as podcasts, workshops and writing.

My latest commission is a Stan’s Wood Shepherd’s Hut , on on the edge of the with views over . If you love in an outside shower, staring into a real fire under the night sky, away from light pollution, then book in for a (no wifi or mobile signal).

It's inspiring getting off grid and offline and just enjoy taking photos. Thanks to the 3 nights I spend there getting dawn images, I'm now waking early for what's fast becoming my favourite time of day.

Here's a shot from this morning, taken through our kitchen door, without any effects or photoshopping. I love the floating bunting and strange blob moon in the sky. Etherial.

Preparing to give a workshop at Soteria London's monthly movie meetup on Saturday 16th August. I'll be giving an informal talk about my Vlogging journey, peppered with the screening of a few well chosen YouTube Vlogs and then helping anyone who wants to have a go at making one themselves! You'll just need a smartphone and the willingness to try - not necessarily to succeed but just to see what it's like. It will be an afternoon of creativity and courage, and permission to not have to take part - if you'd rather just keep watching my Vlogs.
