After several phone calls today, we are now seeking self-employed Door Supervisor (DS) staff for the 2026 festival and events season.

For 2026 we will have positions available for:
• Door Supervisors (DS)
• CCTV Operatives
• General Purpose (GP) Dog Handlers
• Drug Detection Dog (DDD) Handlers

We will confirm at a later date whether Explosives Detection Dog (EDD) Handlers will also be required.

Licence & Compliance Requirements:
• Valid SIA Door Supervisor licence (for DS roles)
• Valid SIA CCTV licence (for CCTV operatives)
• Valid SIA licence for dog handling roles (as applicable)
• In-date First Aid qualification
• Relevant dog handling certification (for K9 roles)
• Self-employed status (UTR required)
• Professional appearance and conduct
• Fluent English (spoken & written)

Wow — what a year it’s been.

Our first real year as a subcontractor and provider, and we’ve absolutely smashed it. The phone hasn’t stopped ringing these past few days, and it’s clear that the demand for professional, proactive K9 security is only growing.

2026 is already shaping up to be our busiest year yet. With more festivals, private events and sports events secured across the UK, we’ll be expanding the team and bringing on more handlers to represent Shaw Secure K9 Ltd to the highest standard.

Today we attended our local church to show our respect and support for the Remembrance service. It was great to see my daughter on parade in her Brownies uniform — we’re proud to remember and honour all who served. ❤️🌺
