Here are a few updates on instagram that might interest you guys.

The new instagram feed ratio has changed from 1:1, which is 1080x1080px to 4:5, which is 1080x1350px

Reels are now up to 3 minutes (check that yours has updated, some people haven't got it yet) if they haven't updated you can just use the post option to share longer videos (videos should still be 9:16 which is 1080x1920px)

You can also trail reels now, which means the reel will only be shown to non followers.

You can then check how they are doing later and share it to your feed or not.

If you scroll down before you share it, you have the option to trail it, then you will find it in your drafts to check insights.

This would be a great way of testing the same video a few times with different hooks or shot in different places.

Branding is your opportunity to show the world who you are and what you do.

I like to show a mix of my personality and my skill set.

Sometimes, that is directly by me speaking to camera and teaching something to help you guys improve your content.

Other times it's indirectly by making something fun like the above image, this still showcases my personality, I like Wolverine, plus it shows an array of skills.

When you make your content fun you are more likely to keep consistency with your posting.

It's amazing when you have people around you who are willing to help you and your business grow.

Personally, I have handed my phone over to a friend or family member to take photos and videos of me for years ( including today for this one)

Most of the time these are good enough to show what you are up to in your day to day life and running of your business.

But sometimes you really want to be showcasing you and your business in the best light possible.

Look at the image below, there is a massive difference in them, I know which one I would prefer used in my business.
