Did you know that almost 7 out of 10 shoppers abandoned their cart during checkout?
If you don’t have an effective abandoned cart flow in place, you’re missing out on a HUGE chunk of revenue.
Here’s how I created a 4 step abandoned cart flow that converts like crazy for one of my clients (with proof)!
✅ Email 1 - Send 1 hour after cart abandonment.
* This email should simply remind the recipient they have left items in their cart. Prompt them to return and complete their purchase.
✅ Email 2 - Sent 23 hours after the cart was abandoned.
* This email should provide the recipient with the USP of your product, or the benefits they receive shopping with your brand.
** BONUS **
Include customer reviews in this email to boost the emails conversion rate.
✅ Email 3 - Sent 1 day after the last email.
* Provide the recipient with a discount code, free shipping, whatever works best for your store. Let them know they only have a limited amount of time to use it before it expires.
✅ Email 4 - Sent 1 day after the last email.
* Let the recipient know they only have 24 hours left before their cart and the discount code expires for good!
