Rod was talking to Beck House about her lived experience of a prescribed drug-induced psychotic episode and subsequent detention under the Mental Health Act which led to her writing her book "Police to Paranoia".

“Silent Approach” is the theatrical re-telling of Rebecca's arrest, detainment, and her subsequent experiences. On Friday’s at 2pm, Rod is talking to some of the cast of a new play coming to Salford Adelphi soon called “Silent Approach”. The play is based on a book by former police women, Rebecca House, who was sectioned under The Mental Health Act with her parents tirelessly campaigning for her release.

Rod is speaking to Rebecca about the events that led up to that period, her time “under section” and the subsequent period picking up her life and sharing her story and experience in her book - “Police To Paranoia”.

Also in the studio is former RadioAlty presenter Marcella Hazell who first interviewed Rebecca on her show - What’s The Craic - and now plays her in the stage adaption of the book. And they are also joined by fellow cast member Ella Green-Lee.
