On Monday's , Rod was talking to a local mum (Emma) about her young daughter who has been diagnosed with PANS - Pediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome - and the impact a reduction in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) support would mean for her and her family. Also on the show Altrincham and Sale West MP, Connor Rand, provided an update on the status of the current review being undertaken in government of the SEND budget.

On today's Rod Maxwell talks to Altrincham MP Connor Rand about the government's position on the budget for Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) which some suggest is under threat in the autumn budget. Before that Rod talks to a local woman who has a child diagnosed with PANS (Paediatric Acute-onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome) - a disorder characterized by the sudden onset of neuropsychiatric symptoms like obsessive-compulsive disorder -OCD - who would be directly impacted by reductions in SEND provision.

Today on from 2pm Rod is speaking to local man Tony Collier about his life in "3Cs" - Community - Charity - Cancer. In 2017 Tony Collier was diagnosed with stage four prostate cancer and told he had just two years to live. Thankfully he's been able to access a new treatment which he's responded 'remarkably well' which is keeping the cancer under control, giving him precious extra years which he is making the most of.
