After 15 years, I feel its time to put The Digital DJ to rest and hand over the reins to other local providers.
The Digital DJ was formed in 2010, when my own children were in lower school. I wanted to offer schools an affordable way to generate income for their PTA associations which would, in turn, provide funding to help improve the childrens educational experience. Im proud to have worked with numerous schools over the years, running school discos, fayres and sports days for the likes of Beaudesert Lower, Clipstone Brook, Eaton Bray Lower, Greenleas Lower, Heathwood Lower, Leedon Lower, Pulfords Lower, Brooklands Middle , Gilberts Middle, Leighton Middle, Cedars Upper and Vandyke Upper.
I also wanted to give something to local community and charities, regularly providing services or helping raise funds for Leighton Linslade Carnival, Picnic in the Park, Help for Heroes, Macmillan Cancer, LB Youth Netball Club, Linslade Galaxy not to mention countless charities through running the Mayor of Leighton-Linslade Charity Quiz.
Of course I also offered services to private clients, covering childrens games based parties, birthday parties, christenings, weddings and more. Throughout the journey, I have met some wonderful people – including a family for whom I did a daughters 13th, another daughters 21st , Engagement and Wedding and entertaining their grand-children at school discos and birthdays parties!
There are some great venues in Leighton – Brooklands Residents Club, Leighton Town Football Club, Royal British Legion and the SVRA in Linslade are my favourites, so please do consider one of these if you are looking for a local venue for your next party.
Who knows, I may come up with another entertainment service at some point in future, but for now, Ill say thank you all for your custom and support over the years !
