I have found the past five years to be full of intensity - grief, betrayal, illness, genocide and more. Although the circumstances we all find are different - there seems to be a thread that many people I speak to have felt pushed during these years - to face themselves and society - to deepen their capacity.
You might wonder what does a goddess like Lakshmi offer in times of crisis - there is a softness and grace - a strength and hope - to create something more beautiful, to appreciate the sweetness we have - to bring an anchoring of generosity, ecology and justice into the way we live.
When times are harder, it’s easy to put up walls, and go into fight or flight. Some of you know I have been caring for my mum for five years, although the past three have been the most intense. People often tell me I need to go live my own life, and speak of the burden. I don’t relate to that as this is my life to tend to what is here - and what I have found is that rather than see it as a burden, I see it as an opportunity to deepen, in my capacity for love and patience, in my capacity to be with things that are challenging and horrendous, in my capacity to anchor the sacred in the small moments. I am allowing myself to be transformed in beautiful ways through the challenge.
We tend to think of wealth as money and material success, but the eight forms of Lakshmi, the Ashta Lakshmi, shows us that there are different forms of wealth and how we can understand the abundant nature of life. We will explore these more deeply in The Radiant Field. It starts today.
Comment Yes to receive the eight different forms of Lakshmi and to find out more about The Radiant Field. We start today (and there is even a little late bird offer there for you).
