This fine day marks the release of something very special in my opinion, open up your mind and let some horror metal into your world with this track entitled, 'The Unwelcome'..
With a vocal range so incredible she could crush covid, vocalist Anabelle (DEVILMENT) teams up with the brilliance of composer/guitarist Charles Edward Alexander Hedger (MAYHEM, SHINING (live)) alongside the furious drumbeats of Frank Skillpero (THE MONOLITH DEATHCULT, INCANTATION (live))..
Play this one loud, After a couple of listens I found myself growing so fond of this fine melody, I rode my weasel to my nearest old people's home to see their reaction..
They immediately stopped eating their roast dinner and started to mosh their potatoes, the whole place kicked off like in what could be described as, 'the darkest asylum in Hell'..
One old lady, now covered in potatoes and sweat, was so engrossed by the harmonies and powerful riffage, she grabbed a 96 year old bloke and spooned his eye out to feed to her imaginary dog named 'Keith'..
In the band's own words:
‘The Unwelcome’ is the first of a series of dark and unsettling compositions, haunting orchestrations and an unseen spectacle of multidimensional, sometimes nearly psychotic vocal outbursts.
VEILE implores you, blackened horror metal fan, to help expel the spring equinox by sharing this prophetic tale of darkness with anyone you’d wish to STAY HAUNTED.
Please go check them out, f**k the misery of lockdowns and covid, it's time to bring the noise back into our lives and this is the perfect medicine..
Awesome work VEILE looking forward to what the future brings to us all..
Live forever..
