Happy Solstice Everybody 🌍 ⛵ 💜 🐬
Did you know that the solstice period lasts 5 days, and today at 3pm-ish GMT was the middle point.
We will only see a longer day (in the northern hemisphere) on Christmas eve. The 24th Dec will be 1 second longer than today. The equinox is 3:58 longer per day.
Enjoy looking forward to the next sailing season. 🤓

😳... I can't believe we're 89 away from 10,000 followers.
That's so awesome. And I'm so grateful for the interest and the support and the wonderful people I've met on this journey so far. 🙏
To think, I only started sailing 5.5yrs ago, and Sailing Sibongile (was originally called "Sailing with a Weirdo") started 4.5yrs ago.
I've personally learnt so much in that time. About sailing, but and also how to combine the fun (and stress) of sailing with the important message of being grateful for what you have and protecting your happiness.

Tell y'all what... If... 🙈... The page hits 10,000 by the end of the week, I'll promise to personally be Bob in a MOB scenario video before the end of the year.
