Incredible scenes at Heat 5 of BurySOUND 2026 at The Hunter Club in Bury St Edmunds Rock City - huge thanks to everyone involved! We had fantastic sets from CAMERON BAKER, THE DETOUR, LIGHTZØUT, RORSCHACH and special guest headliners CHANCE FOR GOOD; Alec Jarman brought his customary sound wizardry, ably assisted by Carlos Roman; Joe Weaver brought his box office A-game; Kitty, Callum, George and Jamie brought the safe and happy vibes that make us love The Hunter Club; and our judges once again gave up their time and expertise to select LIGHTZØUT as Heat 5’s winners from a ridiculously strong bunch of artists.

The BurySOUND Heats are now finished - next up is our GRAND FINAL at The Apex on Saturday 7th March! Heat winners HALF RETURN, BLAAZE, OSCAR NOVEMBER, EGREGORE and LIGHTZØUT will be joined by 2025 winners H*LLO K*TTY FUN LAND for a night of supreme awesomeness whose memory will live eternal in the annals of rock. Doors open 6pm; all ages are welcome (u14s accompanied); tickets are only £5 via The Apex box office, by calling 01284 758000 or online at theapex.co.uk
