A Spanish-speaking church in Montreal has been fined $2,500 after hosting Christian activist and worship leader Sean Feucht without a permit. Local officials cited the event’s clash with the city’s “values of inclusion” and public safety concerns, while Feucht and supporters claim it reflects growing hostility toward public expressions of traditional Christian faith. Footage from the event shows police surrounding the property and a smoke bomb thrown on stage. Multiple Canadian cities have already canceled Feucht’s “Revive in 25” tour stops, citing his views on sexuality, Trump, and transgender ideology. Feucht maintains the tour is peaceful worship and alleges persecution, saying Canada exhibits more hostility than many nations with less religious freedom. The case has reignited debate over freedom of religion, speech, and whether Christian convictions are being silenced in Western democracies.
