🍻 Lincolnshire pubs, meet your new best friend!

Tap Tap Pub is launching 1 Jan 2026 — a smart new platform to help you discover pubs, events, menus, dog-friendly spots, live sport, and more — all in a few taps.

Created right here in Lincolnshire, Tap Tap Pub gives pubs free listings and optional tools to boost visibility, showcase events, and reach more customers. Apps for iOS and Android arrive in the first three months.

“Lincolnshire is where we built this, but our ambition is national,” says co-founder Brad Johnson. “We want to make great pubs easier to find and help venues thrive.”

📍 Starting local, with plans to expand across East Yorkshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Norfolk and beyond.

Raise a glass to local pubs, local tech, and a stronger community this New Year! For full details Tap Tap here:

Finding the right pub could soon be as easy as a couple of taps on your phone, thanks to a new Lincolnshire-built platform designed to put great locals back on the map.

🌳 Lincolnshire Goes Green! 🌿
Hundreds of trees and hedges have found new homes across the county thanks to Lincolnshire County Council and their LincWoods project! Residents snapped up 200 planting packs over two days at Boothby Wildlands and Bardney Dairies — that’s 50 trees per pack and 250 hedging plants per hedge bundle. 🍃
From English oak to wild cherry, hawthorn to dogwood, these packs will help boost our county’s canopy and support local wildlife. 🦉🦋
Cllr Danny Brookes said:
"We’re thrilled with the turnout — Lincolnshire people really care about making our county greener and are getting hands-on to make it happen."
This is the third giveaway this year, organised in partnership with the Woodland Trust, Tree Council, Lincolnshire Co-op and Forestry Commission — and there’s more to come in 2026! 🌱
💡 Fun fact: Lincolnshire has just 4% tree cover, compared to the national 13%! With a target of 750,000 new trees, every sapling counts.
