What a weekend, two night shots done! I want to say a huge thank you to all the cast .uk .oakley and a massive thank you for all the incredible crew the three Dans .daniel and Dan.

A huge thank you to Bill Milford for donating £20 to our fundraiser. I'm surprised an ARP warden could scrape together 20 shillings, let alone £20! Bill's Scottish cousin (also called Bill for some reason) stars in the film!

Seriously though, a huge thank you to for supporting us - for being a fantastic actor and dramaturg as well as a great friend!

This film is based on stories from my and my wife's family, so it's very close to my heart. We're also running a pub quiz and raffle on the 10th of May at 7pm at the Barley Mow in Southsea – which is where we're shooting the film!

I wanted to give a shout out to the Barley Mow pub, which is the location for our short film One Last Pint, set to be filmed later this year!

They were incredibly accommodating when we shot our proof of concept, and the pub itself is stunning. We highly recommend anyone in Southsea who wants a pint to give it a visit! 🍺

Barney and Don. Brothers who have grown up on a council estate in Gillingham, Kent. Don has been a Naval gunner since the outbreak of war, and Barney, living so close to Chatham dockyard, is used to the constant air raids.

Barney has signed up for the marines and gets shipped out for his first mission the next day, so Don has decided to take him out for one last pint before he leaves, May 1941.
