What a night!
Last week we opened our exhibition with , & the at the FUJIFILM House of Photography in Covent Garden.

Fuji kindly loaned me their latest kit to shoot the event, and those shots now feature in the exhibition. Huge thanks to and for helping me cover the race itself - their images are part of the story we’re telling in the exhibition, and I couldn’t have captured it all without them.

and his team with also smashed it on the race video.

Seeing so many people turn up and support us meant the world. One of those proper pinch-myself moments, standing up and giving a speech to a packed room.

We shot at the top of Brévent on Tuesday afternoon for a client and decided to run back down the mountain into Chamonix. 8km of a lot of concentrating to not trip while shooting and running and some damn sore quads. Loved every minute and was a great first afternoon back in town. .unitedkingdom

A mad 48 hours in Ibiza shooting fitness and lifestyle content. We started with on the first morning. The Spanish sun making their Hyrox training extra spicy. Great working alongside . Can’t wait to go back in September!

Guildford Crit 2025.
No work, just there for fun, to have a play and catch up with people. It’s such a good event to watch and was so nice to bump into so many photographers I know through instagram but never meet in person. Great race, great people, great night! unitedkingdom

Testing with .patel__ last week. I’m so conscious of always pushing myself with what I do. I always want to keep learning and developing. There are some big shifts happening in the creative world so testing for me is a great way to try out new ideas and techniques. Shooting super wide isn’t something I normally do. Some of these are at 12mm and I still want to go wider. Also given my background as a graphic designer for 13 years before switching to photography in 2015, I’ve never really played with graphical shapes and lines. I’m always out shooting in nature which I love, but I also love architecture. Big thanks to Karina for being up for testing and giving me the chance to play with colours, shapes and angles. Some aerial shots from last weeks location recce for an upcoming shoot. First time shooting from a plane so embracing all the inspiration from the master . Huge huge thanks to .vl for being an awesome pilot and to for the link up and for being the model. Flying out from over Portsmouth to the Isle of Wight and back was great. I don’t normally post event pics on here but Monday night was a fun one. .com_ and held an event in Battersea for the new Adizero shoe. With a branded up speed check van they issued printed speeding tickets with the runners on straight after they completed a 100m sprint. Great event and great evening. Big thanks to for inviting me down to work as part of their team to capture some photos.

A few days in St Ives with the family for half term. In between building many sandcastles and a lot of time playing pirate games at the pool (with my kids - not just weirdly building sandcastles and playing pirate games by myself) I went on a few walks with my camera. Lots of surfers out as a swell rolled in so took the chance to grab some snaps.
Some of the shots from many of the talented local surf photographers at other spots along the coast where the waves were really big were hugely inspiring. Hats off to the shooters who get in amongst those heavy swells. Feeling recharged and ready to head to Chamonix to shoot for a couple of days now. .unitedkingdom

Winter swims in the UK don’t get much better than this 🌊☀️. We headed to the Isle of Wight just before Christmas for a shoot, starting the day with early morning on the pontoon before capturing some swim shots in the ocean (thanks for the wetsuits )🏊‍♂️❄️. It was the perfect backdrop for both the swim and the incredible Discovery we were also shooting (to be shared soon). Always on the lookout for great swim and car locations so drop any recommendations below 👇

After 15 years of designing, managing a digital department, being on photoshoots and using imagery daily, Phil decided to pursue his passion for photography and combine it with his main hobbies of running, ultra marathons, cycling, triathlon, golf and just generally the big outdoors. He is registered with the British Institute of Professional Photography and is a fully qualified sports photographer.
