SINGLE DIGIT TICKETS REMAINING

Got back home from Sheffield DocFest on Monday, and already counting the days until the next big doc screening. Hunting Captain Nairac premiers at Docs Ireland on Sunday and is very nearly sold out!! Literally only a handful of tickets left.

I'm still recovering from my mystery back injury, and adamant I'll be healed up and ready to attend, especially if the event is so in demand :) I'm not giving up my golden ticket.

I've made it 3 days at and woke up day 4 with my back in so much pain. Don't know if I pulled a muscle or what, but I am struggling today. Sitting, standing, any kind of bending, hurts a lot! I'm hoping CBD balm will ease it, but it feels like it might be getting worse :( but Doc/Fest waits for no-one. I just hope folks can be a wee bit patient as I hobble my way through the rest of the fest.

Sheffield here I come! ->

I'm heading to Sheffield DocFest today and super excited for the week ahead. Anyone have any advice or recommendations for this year? I'd love to hear your words of wisdom, especially for someone whose quite socially introverted, but desperate to get out there and find job opportunities. Thanks!

STAY OPTIMISTIC

I had such a lovely day at Foyle Film Festival yesterday, enjoying the industry panels and meeting some lovely people. I completely forgot that the day began on a downer, a 'Dear John' email from Netflix, my Documentary Talent Fund application was unsuccessful. I don't mind at all. It was a big shot in the dark to even apply. Going to stay hopeful that some day one of my documentary ideas will come across the eye of someone who's interested in making it happen.
