Dirty Business – Why Clean Water Matters

If you haven’t watched Dirty Business on Channel 4 yet, it’s well worth your time.

For those of us who swim in the sea regularly, the issue of water pollution isn’t abstract — it’s personal. The programme shines a light on the ongoing problems with sewage discharges and the lack of accountability around them.

Clean seas shouldn’t be controversial.

If this matters to you too, there are a few things you can do:
Sign petitions calling for stronger regulation
Write to your local MP and ask what they’re doing about water quality
Support organisations campaigning for cleaner rivers and seas

Small actions from lots of people can push real change.

Our seas/ rivers deserve better. We deserve better 🌊

Had a brilliant creative day out in London last week.

Started at the Curzon Cinema to see If I Had Legs I’d Kick You — intense, sharp and absolutely excellent filmmaking. The kind of film that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Then on to the Tracey Emin exhibition at Tate — raw, personal and hugely powerful. Whether you love contemporary art or not, it’s hard not to be moved by the honesty in her work.

Days like this are such a great reminder of how important it is to step out, experience culture and refill the creative tank.

Highly recommend both.
