It’s ok to take a risk!

Taking to the online world was the best decision that I ever made.

Not only do I have a vehicle to get me out of the normal working world and be free of the struggles we face as employees such as feeling under valued, over worked and have less time to focus on our selves and our families…

But I have also massively grown as a person. My mental health is so much stronger, my physical health has improved, and I’m doing things I would have never done before.

So it was the best risk I could take!

Did I have the money to start? No…

Did I have it all figured out? No…

Did I fear failing and not being good enough? Yes 😂

I had 2 options, face my fears, trust the process and go all in to change what I didn’t like about my life…

Or

Stay stuck where I was, wondering what if…

I obviously chose the 1st option and I would everyday!

Random pieces of life recently…

Touching back down in Liverpool and collecting everyone’s cases was fun 😆 seriously though, if Scott picks up my case il be in a mood! I actually love getting it myself, can’t tell you why but it’s all part of the travels ✈️

Then lots of podcasts whilst I was working through some mindset stuff and preparing for the last quarter of the year!

Ohh and a gorgeous meal for Scotts aunties 65th birthday Carol, funny story…I “dropped something off” at her house a few years back and long story short…I had to wake Scott up to come and pick me up and drive my car home 🤣 he got a VOI scooter an wasn’t best pleased!

The week I felt stuck and doubtful was actually a shift in my identity, a part of me closer to the best version of me 💫

I didn’t know how to come across, I had days off posting, I didn’t message friends, I cried, I felt confused, I didn’t know how to move forwards, I was still doing some stuff but my head was not in the game…

Everything I thought I had figured out the day before…I woke up confused!

What had happened, what changed?

I did 🫶🏼

All the up levelling, growth, personal development, mindset stuff, business skills and leadership that I had been working on this past year…was like waking up and the switch had flipped!

It’s the only way to describe it 😂

I’m grateful each day for the version of me who said yes to this exciting and wild online journey!

As women in our 30’s we are SO self aware. So recognise more where you feel stuck and confused and ask yourself…what do I no longer align with 🩷

Something amazing about human connection is that you don’t forget how people make you feel.

Whether it’s direct or indirect.

Let me tell you a story, something I experienced a few days ago.

When I met this bunch and few of the others, I got there and everyone made me so welcome and I felt so loved 🥹 some I had already met and some I had only ever spoke to online, by message or by zoom!

I was complimented loads (I had lost 1.5 stone since I’d seen some of the guys) and how I felt in that moment won’t be forgotten 🩷

If you’re one of those people around the pool that day…thank you 😭 you are the people I choose to surround myself with…

In a very digital world, don’t forget the real world and humanity. Because at the end of the day when we are low or lost. We look for each other 🫶🏼
