Last night I got invited to a Sony event in London for the launch of the new FX5 👀🎥

First things first, what a camera. I’m not gonna deep dive into many specs, there’s already hundreds of videos out there doing that. For me it’s less about the numbers on paper and more about the tools and what a camera actually offers you in the real world and damn, the FX5 is nuts 🤯

A couple of things got me excited:
→ 16-bit XOCN — I wanna push that colour grade and see what it can really do with how I work
→ Dual gain mode - cleaning up the noise in the shadows
→ Image quality blew me away, seriously
→ Three base ISOs (800 / 4000 / 12800) — having that 4000 option is gonna be clutch instead of jumping to 12800 and stopping down with ND
→ Open gate is nice too, plus all the other extra quality of life features

Really impressed, can’t wait to test it properly.

Big thanks to Sony | Professional Filmmaking for having me and for the chance to be in a room with some legends in this industry, people who inspired me when I was starting out, who I now get to call mates. I also didn’t get much content as I was too busy chatting..my bad haha!

For those that are asking if I will get one…we shall see 😏 The FX6 is still my GOAT (only because of the VND and form factor)

A few of my best formula 1 stills to date! 🎥🏎️

Silverstone with the FX6, FX30, Sigma 28-105mm f2.8 and Sony GM1 70-200mm f2.8 and yes, these are all stills pulled straight from the video footage.

Handheld with the FX6 and tripod with the FX30. It was super difficult to capture in the spots we were in with the cars going so fast and fences in the way of some shots but I think we made it work. Rushing around to different points in the boiling hot with the guys are the moments and memories I love to make. 🎬🔥

Silverstone Grand Prix with 🎥🏎️🇬🇧

Hot days, long hours, not much sleep but an absolute blast from start to finish. F1 cars, legendary drivers past & present and some of the most talented and influential people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting within the F1 space all in one place. 🤯

None of it would have been possible without and .uk who honestly smashed it from start to finish, proud of this team more than ever and always PUH for trusting in us to do what we do best within all the chaos. Still very much overstimulated with what happened but more to come, what an event! 🎬🙏🏼

P.S. My bromance with was the highlight🤣😅

Monaco Grand Prix with The Pop Up Hotel 🎥🇲🇨☀️

If I’m being honest, this one has been on the bucket list for a long time not just as a place to visit, but as the kind of job I always wanted Keefikus Entertainment to be doing. Three of us, six days, one of the most iconic race weekends on the planet. Tom on photography, Dan in the edit and myself on video, a small and epic team but exactly the right one for a job like this. Incredibly proud of what we came home with and grateful to be working with a client who truly understands the value of great content. Roll on Silverstone. 🎬🏁🏎️

Sometimes you just need to get away… and this was exactly that. 🤯

Took on the Dolomites with and and it genuinely felt like we were on top of the world. A proper bucket list place, and somehow even better than we imagined.

It wasn’t easy going though, hiking through snow up to our knees (sometimes waist 😅), pushing through 23+ miles and around 6000ft of elevation, hitting 15–20k steps a day but every step was worth it even if i did moan sometimes haha!

The best part? Having most of it to ourselves in the off-season. No crowds, just unreal views, silence, and a lot of laughs along the way, what a treat 🤌🏼

I could honestly write a book about this trip but for now here’s a few shots from the Fuji X100V and iPhone 17. I also took the Sony FX6 out with me and captured some epic stuff, videos from that and iPhone stuff coming soon 🎥 ♥️

Big thanks to the guys for creating epic memories and sorting this trip out! Especially Harry, the travel agent, tour guide, chef and driver 🤣🫶🏼
