🎬 A Message from DMJ Imagery Ltd
After 10 years of running DMJ Imagery Ltd, I have decided to call it a day. The business will officially close at the end of April 2026.
It has been an absolute joy to work with so many wonderful clients, collaborators, and friends over the years — from local businesses and arts centres to film directors and creative teams. I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and grateful for every opportunity that came my way. However, times have changed — the market has shifted, and the customer base is no longer large enough to sustain the business, especially with rising operating costs. In addition, with my own personal circumstances that have changed this year have led me to this decision.
Having weathered Covid and the financial challenges that followed, the arrival of AI has brought another major shift. When images can be created for nothing and short videos produced for just a few pounds, it’s hard for traditional production companies — relying on crews, equipment, and actors — to compete. Like many others in the creative industry, DMJ Imagery has felt that impact deeply. It seems not even winning dozens of awards is enough to save it.
That said, I’m not giving up on creativity. I’ll continue producing content as a freelancer filmmaker, focusing primarily on my own projects and collaborations.
A huge thank you to everyone who has supported DMJ Imagery Ltd since 2016 — clients, collaborators, and friends alike. Your trust, enthusiasm, and creativity have made this journey truly unforgettable.
