Fry Up Inspector Breakfast 🥓
Street food 🍔
Travel ✈️ I started back in 2010 reviewing the Full English breakfast which I documented on detail on my blog.

There’s more to life than breakfast though so I moved my focus to lunch and dinner as well. I’ve got a particular passion for street food and travel too.

I haven’t been for breakfast at Bond Street Cafe in Norwich for many years until today. On previous visits I was always impressed by their breakfasts, especially considering the price. Good to see nothing had changed and I was able to get their Bumper Breakfast for just £11.90. All nicely cooked and presented with everything you could want on a breakfast. The Bumper Breakfast includes toast (with jam), bread and butter and fried bread. I enjoyed the jumbo sausage, loved their potato slices too and bean consistency was thick which was good to see. For the price you definitely can’t go wrong. A great atmosphere and lovely staff here. I actually ate this for lunch as it’s served until they close at 2pm. Definitely recommended if you’re in NR2

As much as I enjoy eating the local food on holiday I do love tracking down a Full English breakfast still. This was in Faro and cost €10. The highlight was that slightly spicy sausage and those well seasoned local tomatoes which had heaps of flavour. Really enjoyed that toast too, served with real butter. Wasn’t so keen on the slightly undercooked eggs or that bacon but hey this still hit the spot nicely! A Pepsi Max to wash it all down 😎

Chicken Nanban is now available in Norwich! This chicken dish originated from Miyazaki Prefecture in the far South of Japan. On my recent trip to Miyazaki I tried Chicken Nanban several times and absolutely loved it. Crisp golden chicken thigh, delicately fried and glazed with a signature sweet-and-sour nanban sauce, then crowned with house-made tartar infused with herbs and pickled vegetables. Served with steamed rice and a side salad. Loving that this dish is now available in Norwich, and it tastes incredible! Go check it out yourself at Iyasaka Cafe on Magdalen Street in NR3. Cost is £15.88.

I grabbed this Ekiben from Hakata station for the quick Shinkansen journey to Kumamoto. An excellent selection and great price at just ¥1100 (just under £6). One of the many reasons I love visiting Japan! 🇯🇵 ❤️

If I ever fancy something sweet when I’m in Norwich City Centre, I always head to on Upper St Giles Street. This place never fails to impress me and this honeycomb tiffin was no exception. Was an absolute pleasure eating this on the way home!
