The Misconceived Conception of a Baby Named Jesus is an award winning religious satire; a fast-paced comedic re-imagining of the events surrounding the birth of Jesus with sensibilities similar to The Book of Mormon and Monty Python’s Life of Brian.
On a warm Galilean night, Mary and Joseph secretly rendezvous in the privacy of a secluded Nazarene garden where they get to know each other well. Very well. Nine months after their union, a series of events unfold that will forever define the meaning of the conception and birth of their child.
When Mary’s pious mother sees that her young u***d daughter is pregnant, she enlists the help of a pompous High Priest to devise a plan to characterize the pregnancy as divine, of God’s seed. Mary refuses to go along with her mother’s scheme, insisting that Joseph is the true father.
