"Bloody Revolutions" Part 2 ........

How many times have we had the conventional "Big Men/Women" with their "Tommy Guns" calling themselves 'Revolutionaries'? How many times have they either made no difference at all - or the Gains - whatever they might be - were only temporary?

To me the only decent Part of the Bolshevik Russian Revolution was when the Russian Army stopped fighting, downed Guns, and went home. That was October 1917 so imagine if the other Armies had done the same - a year before W.W.1 eventually ended ..... and everyone settled for that! The Bolsheviks went on a killing Spree after that and whether it was the Murder at Ekaterinberg or a pre-Barbarossa Death Toll that claimed more Lives than the Holocaust - if they had it figured why isn't it still called the Soviet Union? Why was the last Romanov greeted like a long lost Son when he arrived in Leningrad/St Petersburg after 1991?

If the Bonapartists had it figured why is France now on it's 5th Republic - not its First? They might even be on their 6th if Carlos the Jackal had prevailed considering the Tumult of 1968.

Franco was a Revolutionary in 1936 - who didn't dig what that years Spanish Election decided - so launched his Civil War. Fascist Spain continued into the 1970's and while People sipped Cocktails on the Costa Del Sol - P.O.W Camps existed in the Spanish Hinterland. It was the same with the Contra's in Nicaragua - who decided against the Election Result and waged their War on the Sandinista's. These 'Rebels' in Syria are an unfortunate Tag because it isn't very clear whether you mean the F.S.A (Free Syrian Army) or ISIL/ISIS - IS - or whatever they call themselves - or the similarly Islamist Al Nusra Front. But as someone asked in a Song "Whose gonna rule when the Government falls?" and if it's the F.S.A - will they simply do away with those whose Views are too extreme? David Lean showed the squabbling Factions in Damascus after the Turks were routed in "Lawrence of Arabia" - but that is mild compared to Damascus if or when its Government falls!

The Revolution in 1989 Prague was called the Velvet Revolution because no-one was killed - and thus it was pretty close to being a true Revolution. 1968 had the potential - but the Warsaw pact had other Ideas.

In 1215 Welsh Troops marched into Shrewsbury and not a Sword was drawn - King John surrendered and signed Magna Carta. A Miracle considering the bloody Century before it. In 1096 Pope Urban llnd told those "Men of Courage" that it was their "Job to fight" - and thus the Crusades were born. Many Men took up Arms, much Money was spent - and many more were killed before Jerusalem was captured in 1099. By 1187 it was all gone. When you watch "Kingdom of Heaven" for all the Subterfuge you see just how temporary it was.

It's 1187 and a Bunch of Medieval Troubadours called Ye Crasse - complete with Lute, Harp, Whistle, Bodhran etc - are doing a Song called "Ode to Pope Urban"

So the only real Revolution is one where People stop shooting each other. Also, when the Cause of the Shooting also stops. There must have been a Glimmer of Hope with many in London, Washington, Paris, Berlin, Rome etc that the Russian Cessation would be contagious and spread through the Ranks of the other Armies and end the War. It wasn't and they had to wait until the Armistice before that happened.

Then you have what happens after a 'Revolution'. Once Napoleon had deposed the French Nobility and 'Madame Guillotine' had done her grim Work he promptly did far worse than they ever did and waged War on the rest of Europe and Britain. How many Lives - French as well as any other did that cost? W.W.1 was so extensive France suffered a Population Crisis by the end of the 1930's as so many young Men were killed 20 years before they hadn't reproduced enough. Russian Cities were starving by 1916 as Men who would otherwise produce Food were in the Trenches - the rest making Munitions.

But while all these other 'Revolutions' go on 11 Billion Bullets are made every year. Enough to kill the Population twice. The Companies who do all of this are like Kommorovski in "Dr Zhivago" - they flourish whoever is in charge. Even Axis Arms manufacturers continue to after any War. One of the most notorious was IG Farben - the Company that made the deadly Zyklon B - used in the N**i Death Camps. There might have been a Trial after the War - some were found guilty - but the Company broke up into its Subsidiaries. BASF, AGFA and Bayer might seem familiar and you ask why they couldn't have been consistent and made the pre-War equivalent of Cassette Tapes and 35MM Film during the War don't you!

There's some good Stuff in Punk Songs that many trendy People didn't figure....

"Bloody Revolutions" by Crass sets a Backdrop to some of it. "You say you want a Revolution - uh, that's fine, But what are you going to be doing come the time? Are you going to the big Man with the Tommy Gun - you gonna talk of Freedom when the Blood begins to run? Freedom has no Value if Violence is the Price - don't want your Revolution - I want Anarchy and Peace!" This was from a Group who you you could describe as deep-agit, but the considerably more mainstream S*x Pistols - on a Record released by the very mainstream EMI - asked "Is this the MPLA, or is this the UDA - or is this the IRA? - And I thought it was the UK" ("Anarchy in the UK") - and Messers Adams and Paisley this was from a Man whose Family were more Irish than either - but who'd lived in London since his Parents immigrated there.

"Wasted Life" by Stiff Little Fingers says something similar - and this was from Ulster. "I could be a Hero - go out there and fight to save this Land. Be a Peoples Soldier - paramilitary Gun in Hand. I won't be a Soldier - I won't take no Orders from no-one. Stuff the *&%$£$& Army - killing isn't my Idea of Fun" - but when Mr Burns has established that we hear that they have been approaching him anyway. "Still they come up to me with a different name but same old Face". Provos or Loyalists - as far as he was concerned they were both the same! Dispatches from Rock and Roll Barricades defending against the Sectarianism of late 70's Northern Ireland.

The Clash re-iterate in a Song that could be sung in the Middle East now. "Tommy Gun" a Response to the paramilitary and military Violence of the Region - which could be leveled at those doing the Shooting now - whoever they might be. So, no - not a Song extolling the Wars of the Region - or anyone else who "ain't happy less they've got one!" (A Tommy Gun).

When Lydon criticizes a Parliament who obscenely and promptly caved in to George Bush in 2003 and the supposed "War on Terrorism" which has spawned more Terrorists than anything before and wasn't about Terrorism at all - how about anyone else who has caved in to other Coercion's - bribed or otherwise?

Lydon is always scathing of Malcolm McLaren - and for good Reason. While the latter tries taking the Credit for inventing Punk the former could say that it wasn't Malcolm getting gobbed at at those Gigs, beaten up by paleolithic Teddy Boys - continually having to keep up the Public Image, write the Songs etc, and while David Johansen says that Malcolm just ligged with the New York Dolls for the few Weeks before they broke up he certainly didn't invent anything Patti Smith might have been doing, while Jones and Cook were being Punks in London before the Tag was even used. They lived the "Problem Child" Lyrics the Damned sang about.

But while we have the Polemic there's that wonderful sense of doing something with your Life. Penetration's "Life's a Gamble" says it all when the lovely Pauline Murray says "You can do it too!" Don't ask for Permission from anyone in other Words. Brilliant Song too!

Punk was liberating ......

The Damned 1 imploded after 2 Albums. The Second ("MFP" or "Music for Pleasure") was produced by Pink Floyds Nick Mason but wasn't particularly well received by the Band as much as the Fans. "It wasn't very good was it" Zig Zag Magazine said to the Captain when they came back with Damned 2. "It was bo****ks" the Bassist turned Guitarist retorted. "Love Song" their post-MFP Single starts with the Sample "Ladies and Gentlemen - how do????" We then have this send up of a sort of sleazy mid-70's trad Rock - then someone shouts "Hey man - what's happening?" Algy Ward thunders in with some Bass that even Lemmy would envy - and the whole thing charges in with "Go........" and some of the most frenetic Rock of the time. If this wasn't a Comment about a Band released from the stifling Environs of the "MFP" Sessions - what is?

Denounced by Johansen - despised by Lydon - McLaren was a Yunk - a posh Bloke from the 60's who was pretending to be a Punk in the 70's - while making huge amounts of Money - most of which probably rightly belonged to the S*x Pistols. He's like the People here who would be like those Neighbours Nicky Tesco says were annoyed by Johnny's "Punk Rock Electric Guitar" in "Sound of the Suburbs". But are then like those who Jim Reid lambasted at the Jesus and Mary Chain Gig when "Upside down" made them trendy.

While Mr Burns "Walked back to the City" in "Alternative Ulster" how many times did I walk back from one during some of our Work and Campaigns? It's a "Dirty rough, tough Trade" indeed when those who didn't - and those who came after them - seem to be more like McLaren than Lydon.

As 9/11 was the thing that started all this and having seen quite a few Documentaries and Podcasts about it I have a few Questions.....
If Interceptors were scrambled (as official Reports says they were) why didn't they intercept the second Plane at least? There were another 17 Minutes before the second Plane crashed into the South Tower. People might forgive NORAD for failing to do so with the first at 8.46 AM - but not at 9.03 AM.
The Attack on the Pentagon involved a flight maneuver even one of our legendary Red Arrows Pilots would have found difficult in a Boeing 757 which meant they crashed into a Flank of the Building which happened to be on the opposite side of Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfelts Office?
If many of the alleged 'Hijackers' were alive in the days after 9/11 - one of whom finally exacted an Apology from American Security People, others still working in Saudi Arabia and other Arab Countries - who did hijack those Planes - flying them to certain Death that day?
These are the obvious Questions - but there are many - like Passports that survive what Titanium Black Boxes and Steel couldn't, the attempt to write off Pentagon Deficits (Moneys that have disappeared) amounting to more than 3 Trillion $'s being investigated in the part of the Building that was hit, Documents in WTC7 that were destroyed when it collapsed implicating IT and Finance Companies, and the presence of Thermite in Residues on what Iron and Steel that wasn't irresponsibly sold to the Chinese within 2 Weeks of 9/11 - suggesting the WTC was demolished rather than collapsed.
Something else is mentioned that seems to have been ignored - and that is what a former WTC Janitor says - that People were suffering Burns BEFORE the Planes struck. This supports the Idea that Thermite was used to demolish the Building.
As many Questions as there have been since Dallas 1963 and the JFK Assassination, but Questions that should be asked as all of the above is the Damage and Trauma caused by what happened in 2001.
To give you an Idea of how much the Pentagons alleged Financial Discrepancy amounted to at the end of the 1990's Britain's national (Government) Debt amounted to £1.56 Trillion in the first Quarter of 2015. Documentary Estimates (with some Database Spreadsheets to show this) put the Pentagons at something like $3.4 Trillion, and that's nearly 18 years ago. Attempts have been made to audit the Pentagons Accounts - but those doing it found the Figures so stupefying they eventually gave up.
Upon becoming D.O.D Secretary Donald Rumsfelt said he was going to do it - but maybe even he found the Task so vast that it was never completed. Donald Trump announced that something like a few $100 Billion were 'missing' (unaccounted for) during his Election Campaign - so either he has severely underestimated the Figure or the Money involved has somehow diminished in the years since the very start of the 21st Century.
What seems odd about the 2 consecutive 'Hicrashes' is how NORAD failed to intercept either - even after the first confirmed that any unusual Airline Activity was definitely suspect and the Pentagon is the most heavily defended Building in the World - bristling with Anti-Aircraft Missiles. Not only were Accounts of the Deficit destroyed, the 'crash' ensured Donald Rumsfelt would emerge unscathed. That a 'Pilot' who could hardly fly a single Engine'd Cesna suddenly became as adroit as a Red Arrows Flyer is also astonishing.
I'm not a Conspiracy Theorist who subscribes to any of that 'Greater Israel' Nonsense (as soon as I hear "Zionists of Israel" in any Commentary I switch off), but I can see a huge financial Motive involved here, coupled with the destruction of valuable Documents at WTC7, and all of this has had an Effect far more conclusive than any Document Shredder. The Planes (and subsequent Fireball) crashed into and incinerated the Offices of some of the Companies implicated in the Twin Towers.
Also, how embarrassing must is have been for both an emphatic Security Community and the Media when one of the NYC18 walked into a Consulate a few days after announcing that he was very much alive? Then it became apparent many of the others were too!
All of this is enough to put you off of flying and spend the rest of your Life living in a Bungalow!
Also, the disastrous Governor General of post-Saddam Iraq was involved in various economic Subterfuges before he was sent to Baghdad. David Petreus saw all his Progress in the Mosul Province completely undone when Paul Bremner assumed provisional Control of the Country.
It all gets even more bizarre when you see more recent Interviews with - then - Vice President Cheney who denies Saddam's alleged Link with Al Qaida (like, that is the same VP who was telling us otherwise a few years earlier right?) or when George Bush and Al Gore were in a TV Debate in 1999 and the former told us how he felt America shouldn't interfere in other Countries. That it was those Countries who should "Help themselves"?
Maybe he changed his Mind when Rumsfelt showed him those Pentagon Balance Sheets, while maybe President Trump should show us how that Deficit had miraculously reduced by 2016. Wish someone somewhere would write off my Debts as effectively! Every Chancellor of Britain's Exchequer has found themselves in more Debt after their Tenure than before, and while very many People might have supported the Iraq War in 2003, how many of them can now see the Connection between that and the Bedroom Tax?
So, no - this isn't some "Zionists of Israel" Conspiracy to somehow create a 'Greater Israel' in the Levant that would swallow most of Syria, Iraq, Jordan and what remains of Palestine - and I'm sure most Jews are quite happy with their Lives in where ever they might live. That sort of Hamster in Wheel Journalism is just a Distraction - with Argument and Counter-Argument that looks very stage managed.
In fact, I can imagine many Jews saying in Hebrew, Yiddish, and whatever their Host Countries speak - what they thought of something that not only gives them a bad Name but also smacks of being relocated to what amounts to a huge Ghetto! This sort of Playground Activism gets put into the Street by all sorts of People whose Motives remain a Question for them!
It's also an Insult to serious Journalism as People strive to find the Truth rather like James Garrison did in the Wake of the JFK Shooting in November 1964.

It has to be remembered that the World - not just America - went through the biggest Consumer Boom ever in the 1950's and 60's, but for some, it might as well have been going on on the other side of the Universe. We were shown People buying the proliferating Cars, they moved to the newly built Suburbs and bought mass produced Housing, Kitchens filled with the latest Gadgets and Utilities and there was something new - TV and Pop Music. The new Media beamed into those Suburbs as People watched TV rather than go to the Cinema and Pop Music was available on Radio and the newly produced 33.3/rd and 45RPM Records.

In among the Ads for the latest 'Must haves' and the Rock and Roll was a dark side. While People bopped and/or screamed to Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent it all went on in an Environment echoed only elsewhere in South Africa. White only Radio and Music Television, White only Concert Tours, White only Concerts, White only Record Companies. The rest was shoved into what was derisively called "Race Music".

Bobby Kennedy left the Glamour of Camelot and found Poverty that showed how that Boom simply hadn't happened for those he met. As Senator for New York he visited the Stuyvesant District and saw People living lives that might have been lived in the 5 Points District we saw in "Gangs of New York", maybe even worse. People living within walking distance of Wall Street, Park Avenue and the fashionable Greenwich Village ..... and this wasn't even in the South. As Presidential Candidate he met People in rural America whose Lives obviously not televised like their Hippie Compatriots were in San Franciso, or the Surfers of LA - even those Rhinestone Cowboys of Nashville and Memphis.

Meanwhile, America had its South, its North - and then there was Mississippi, and in Mississippi there was the State enforced Segregation. Jackson, Mississippi was particularly bad as a Documentary shows Police proudly demonstrating their Measures to control Dissent among Anti-Segregationalists. You see this and wonder where Pretoria got some of their Ideas. Laws prohibiting People complaining to Federal Authorities were implemented - and on it went. An unfortunate Name for a Town in the Context of how some recent Films also might have gone on on the other side of somewhere. Even Jessup County couldn't provide a Hairdresser for the Woman in "Mississippi Burning" who has hers done in Jackson. No Honour among Rednecks then huh!

On the Subject of my Conversation with the Israeli about the Rabin-Arafat Summit, while the Israeli Leader was killed by a Jew who felt he had made too many Concessions to the Palestinians, Bobby Kennedy was by a Palestinian who thought the Kennedy's were too friendly to Israel. If that hadn't happened what would he have achieved in the Battle against Racism and Poverty, recommencing what his Brother started and Johnson implemented and Americas Position in Indo-China? Robert McNamara was 'retired' from Johnson's Administration because he increasingly disagreed about that very controversial War. He might also have recommenced with Kennedy as Secretary of State for Defense to implement Americas Withdrawal. Considering that Conflicts Unpopularity - any President ending it could use that public Kudos to give Momentum to other Policy Areas.

I write about this - and did so quite prolifically and increasingly exasperatedly during the Obama Era - because Pseudo-Liberalism seemed ignorant of its Origins. People on Facebook who should know what the Pass Book Protests were in South Africa - but don't - are like Cheese Wagstaff in "The Wire" who is oblivious to his Culture - and probably never even heard of Frederick Douglas. Socialists who seem oblivious to the Notion of Access to the Means of Production - and what a lack of means for People. When some of those People might have been involved in the Origins of that - and still have no Access - things don't improve.

If that 'Wall' came from a certain Ethnic Group the Paradox is compounded when "Das Capital" was written by a Jew.

The Yippies might think they can somehow adapt to the Trump Environment and whatever we end up with after the forthcoming Election - but as Murdoch says to Hockley "Your Money can no more save you than it can me" - and President Trump sets out to undo large Areas of Eco-legislation! New Lines idyllic 'Shire' proves as transient as the Sets, Costumes, and CGI Imagery.

Having mentioned New Line Cinema - I do ask why there seems to be a Discrepancy between the Robert Kennedy Speech they have (Voice only) in their Film "Bobby" and the actual Speech he gave at the Ambassador!

What Zionism has done has had as detrimental Effect on Jewish People as it has on anyone in their Gunsights.

When I spoke to that Israeli on the same Bench I was assaulted on a year later (hmmm????) he never elaborated which faction he might have belonged to back home. Rabin's Assassin was as Jewish as Rabin, those Invaders in Memphis - sent to discredit the Civil Rights Demo - a Rehearsal for the big one in Washington - were as Black as Dr King - while I might meet People as Welsh as I am, or any other Background that assimilates with whatever. While those People did what they did in Memphis the Internet is similar - Stooges on Social Media etc, while whose to say some I knew had any genuine Integrity? The Conclusion to all this is self-evident. The Continuation in recent years merely confirms it.

Maybe I ought to have asked "Are you selling me a Painting - or are you looking for Dissent - like People who write Articles questioning a War?"

Because of the huge Disappointment the Obama Era was here - because of those fake Liberals and Pseudo-Social Consciences - People should start applying the Bulcrap Detector to the years before the next American Election. To learn to spot the invisible Networks they don't belong to.

When did Scarlett Johansen turn into Scarlett O'Hara - or might as well be for all the non-Integration that led to their Demo recently? That while those Invisible Networks could be that Invisible Empire - the early 60's Southern Template applies. That while 'Lynyrd Skynyrd' are allowed to play mighty Rock and Roll - Robert Johnson has to cross that Road! Wonder if Pointyhead are reading this!

Yeah, I've just read the Stuff the Conservatives are going to do to regulate the Internet. That while some of it is open to Interpretation (for example; when Colonel Brandon said to Willoughby that he thought the Iraq War was a Mistake the latter said "That's Offensive" - like we were never allowed to have an Opinion about any of that), some of it is quite horrible - like the Pornographic Priestesses that some Dating Site kept sending to my Email, while there's worse, and some is Politically awful, where's the voluntary Code of Conduct when it comes to Internet Crime?

There isn't one, and while these People use Microsoft and Google Products to commit Fraud - the Internet treats it all like it was a Game. Like the Scam-Scam Reviews Website were part of some Equation Sports Commentators could comment on, like it all went on in some Arena like they were Gladiators or something. But nothing is resolved because People are wafty about it and see both sides of both sides. Theresa May said it should be as difficult to commit Crime on the Internet as it is anywhere else - but while People see these Scams on their Monitors like they watch a Crime on CCTV - including Employees of these huge Internet Companies - does anyone do anything about it?

There's the Arbitrariness of what we have at the moment - where instead of there being some basic Rights and Wrongs and that's it, other Scam Reviewers pitch their Stuff in a way that suggests they might as well not bothered. Like the Scam and other things that might have been wrong have become so entwined their endorsement of the latter taints their Review of the former.

This was never meant to be a Scam Reviewers Website, but the most recent Stuff has become that because of all this. That I felt I had to write and present it so I felt what needed to be said was said - and how it should be, without the subjectivised Taint of some others. It's like supposed Consumer Affairs in Medialand now only applies to certain People - the rest can get scammed to death!

Because I can't go to anyone at Microsoft or Google - whose huge Resources could trace, face and correct the Scammers - obtaining a Result on my behalf and a deterrent to the Scammers - we now have a Government who are going to do it for them. Everyone from Bill Gates to Mark Zuckerburg must see this as foreboding, but there are no both sides to both sides when People like CoinBTC and the Monitor can scam with impunity.

A Conspiracy Theorist could say that they were working for all that anyway. Online Agent Provocateurs sent to compromise the Integrity of the Internet. Often wondered how they kept getting away with it!

I'm as skeptical of these sleek Yippies like you might if you met Rafael Montero in those Zorro Movies. He must have seemed very sleek to those others in the Film until we see how and where his Wealth came from. When we see those People whose "Nation was underground" so to speak...

Because of that - and how that seems to refer to the Julian Cope Song on our Album - I will be emailing the Producer of that MTV Documentary to say that not only does it seem People have been scamming it almost since it's Release 27 years ago - where the individual Songs seem to have become more important than why the Album existed at all - People don't heed anything when People like Film Makers do try and prompt them. "The Mask of Zorro" was 1998 - how many years ago now? Fewer years from 1990 to then than then to now, now!

When Germanus makes his "No Doubt" Comment in "King Arthur" it somehow reinforces the Criticism the Documentary made about some Charity Projects and Albums that seem like Scams meant to promote Artistes rather than Causes. He's very sleek too.

Maybe one of the Movie Channels should show those "Lord of the Rings" Films - and everyone goes all gooey at the twee New Agieness of it all, complete with Catherine and Marton wafting about - then show that Zorro Movie where Catherine Zeta Jones - who has enjoyed being very sleek as Rafael Montero's Charge (which means he also has something that doesn't belong to him - her!!!!) - until she meets Zorro and sees where Montero's Wealth comes from. At least she decides against continuing with what might have been wrong!

Meanwhile, at least Bargers People have a Code of sorts, which is more than can be said of these so called Flower People/Children whose - erm - 'Code' has yet to be made known to any of us!

Also, as MTV is probably the most Seen Music Media on the Ether - the sort of Criticism they might have ought to be taken seriously.

So far, the Flower Code seems to involve effing over anyone and everyone to the highest Bidder with the lowest set of Principles! That, and being Thugs of course!

People might scoff at this, but while Bobby Kennedy did his Tour in 1968 - and saw what had happened with People who had even seen the Programs to help them closed to finance the Vietnam War - aren't we now seeing the same thing happen with President Trump? At least, according to Bernie Sanders we are, and while that was 1968 - shown in a Film in 2005 - someone did similar in the Rust Belt of Wales almost as long ago now as that Zorro Movie. The Question I have not only asks about those last 8 years, but also those before 2009. As Hostage Release seems to have been scammed by almost every Opportunist imaginable - nothing more than a Marketing thing for all sort of dubiously motivated People - could I now say the same about that 1999 Campaign? And while that Chicago Conference descended into Chaos as pro and anti Vietnam War Liberals squabbled for Influence after RFK was killed - it was similar in those Years.

It's difficult to retain any Idealism when you seem to be surrounded by 'Invaders' - Hippies who aren't really Hippies - at least not in this Context. i still play that Country Joe Song, and while his Guitarist says how Woodstock was the last conducive Festival I could say that what we have now is as dubiously motivated as Altamont (which ought to have been cancelled when the original Venue was withdrawn) the Isle of Wight which was also plagued with Violence and that awful 'Love and Peace' Festival in Germany.

I'd love to form a Group doing what could be described as the Protest Singers Songbook. Woody Guthrie, Arlo, Seeger, Dylan, Baez, Havens, CSN ("Long time coming" being about the RFK Assasination), maybe even a Billy Bragg Tune or two. But it'd probably be difficult to find other conducive and genuine Musicians. Ronan might have had his 'Peace and Love' Group - but that has as much to do with "Rhythm Sticks" as it might any Idealism.

For example, a Question I could ask some local 'Musicians' is; is that a Brown Guitar Lead.... or a Leash? I could ask a 'Venue' about Sports Bars and Underdogs - or even Tones! Gandalf McKellen - "Old friends" in Supermarkets?

I have read Stuff about how - as far as some New Zealanders were concerned - Peter Jackson got a bit too big for his Dr Martens!
