Some of you asked too see the pipe so here it is . If your claustrophobic then I do apologise in advance . The Structures shown in the video are two sets of casemates known as the north and south flanks . They are situated on opposite sides of a huge old fortress so getting from one to the other would take a very long time without this shortcut . We believe it to be a services tunnel to inspect the sewer pipe that runs below it but we could be wrong .

Dark,oily, creepy and smelly old wartime tunnels hidden under the old gkn factory which now sits abandoned and forgotten . Used during the second world war too secretly produce components for the war effort . fans Olight UK

This drainage adit is the longest of its kind in mid wales reaching a distance of around 1.7km in a straight drive straight into mountain . The reason for it being so long is that it was used to drain four different mines located at different points over the mountain range and the water then powered a huge water wheel down in the valley . The adit was first driven in 1785 but then extended to reach the other mines as time went on before the day came when the mines went quiet . Now it sits as a really cool feature in a really nice couples back garden with the freezing cold water running through like a little river before it heads down to the giant wheel . On my return my GDU went bezerk which made for a rather frantic quick escape . fans Olight UK

Thess adits in the valley make up what was known as pughs mine part of a larger mining operation that lasted hundreds of years. Consisting of three main drives which were known as upper and lower gellor adits and Rosa's level . Lower was was too flooded to even try and the acidic water coming out polluting the river doesn't look very nice . Upper gellor adit had almost completely drained leaving a bright orange stain the length of the adit eventually stopping at a collapse . Rosa's level requires srt almost straight away so didnt get very far in there this time . I found plenty of other ways in but they were mostly caged off . fans Olight UK
