10/04/2026

The legendary Tayla returns with a brand new collaboration alongside Dramatic for the latest release on In-Reach Records (IRR015). A key figure in the golden era of jungle and drum & bass, Tayla helped shape the atmospheric sound of the genre through his influential work on Good Looking Records throughout the 90's.

Joining him is Dramatic, a highly talented producer whose catalogue spans decades of underground drum & bass. Regularly championed by LTJ Bukem, helping cement his reputation within the deep soulful side of the scene. Responsible for a number of seminal releases on iconic labels such as Liquid V, Good Looking Records and Sh**un Ltd.

For In-Reach 015 the duo deliver two powerful cuts that blend classic jungle heritage with modern production energy. Kano is a melodic, groovy drum-funk anthem, rolling with warm atmospheres and intricate breaks, while Messengers flips the switch into a full amen smash-out — raw, high-energy and built for the dancefloor. A meeting of two true D&B legends.

A massive thank you to everyone who’s supported this release so far from LTJ Bukem, Ray Keith, Ephyra, Doc Scott, Flight, Bailey, Soul Intent, Storm, Loxy, Tim Clay, and many more. Big love 🤍

Premiere #2 Dramatic & Tayla - "Messengers"

https://soundcloud.com/datatransmissiondnb/tayla-dramatic-messengers-in

Tayla and Dramatic unite for IRR015, a two-tracker on In-Reach Records that draws on deep roots while pushing forward.

Tayla needs little introduction. A key presence in the formative years of Jungle and Drum & Bass, his work on Good Looking Records through the 90s helped define the atmospheric direction the music would take. Dramatic has built a catalogue with equal weight behind it, earning consistent support from LTJ Bukem and leaving his mark across Liquid V, Good Looking Records and Sh**un Ltd.

Together they deliver two cuts that sit comfortably alongside each other without sounding alike. 'Kano' moves through warm, rolling textures, its drum-funk groove anchored by intricate breaks and a melodic core that lingers. 'Messengers' shifts the tone entirely, an amen-driven, high-energy piece built with the dancefloor in mind.

Uneven & BrandNewTrumpets 💥 OUT TOMORROW!

In-Reach Records proudly presents the Uneven EP, a four-track collection that blurs the lines between ambient, dub, and experimental electronic music. Crafted with precision and depth, the release explores atmosphere and rhythm in equal measure, each track carving out its own world while contributing to a cohesive narrative.

“Hidden Meaning” featuring BrandNewTrumpets shifts the focus towards texture and storytelling. The collaboration introduces vocal fragments and melodic detail that shimmer across the low-end framework, balancing delicate beauty with an undercurrent of unease. It’s a track that feels both intimate and expansive, encouraging repeated listens to uncover its layered intricacies.

Together, these four tracks showcase Uneven’s ability to fuse subtlety and intensity, crafting music that is as suitable for introspection as it is for system-tested listening. The Uneven EP marks another forward-thinking chapter in the In-Reach Records catalogue, music built to explore, absorb, and endure.
