Bridge by Numbers is a tried and tested learning method. Here's what people have said about it:

"It was a great approach to introduce the game without diving it into the finer detail of bidding ‘rules’ so that everyone could play quickly at a basic level; and the payoff is that you have produced a number of keen new players that want to continue playing together."
Rosemary

"We both thoroughly enjoyed the course. Your detailed explanations and teaching format were excellent and made the course both instructional and a pleasure to attend.""
Carol and John

Your methodology seemed to work in that people were able to understand, and more importantly apply the lessons in play, much quicker than had they attended a more conventional bridge beginners' course."

What do you need to know to use the Bridge by Numbers app?

Nothing. Well, to count. And the points of the compass ...

What do you need to use the Bridge by Numbers app?

Three other people who want to learn bridge with you. Four chairs. A table – preferably a square one, but a round one or an oblong one will do. A standard pack of cards (ideally two, but one will do). Pencils and paper (or bridge scoring pads if you want to be flash). Drinks are optional.

That’s it.

Have you ever thought about learning to play bridge? Maybe you've picked up a book on the game and flicked through it? And the very first chapter has put you off the idea? Or you've been along to a bridge club and seen everyone sitting with stone faces in funereal silence and thought, 'Not for me!'? Or you've actually been on a course of some kind and been bombarded for an hour with the intricacies of something called a 'bidding system', which made about as much sense to you as the grammar of Greek?

If so, you'll want to try the new Bridge by Numbers app.

It makes learning bridge both easy and fun.

To start with, you'll learn with friends so you can all laugh together when you do something wrong, with no one standing over you tutting.

And you'll learn in simple steps, one at a time, repeating each one as often as you like until you're ready to move on to the next one.

You won't need to learn lots of rules (only two) or a complicated bidding system or even how to score.

But you will learn to play bridge.

And you'll discover that it's a great game. The best card game in the world, in fact.

Take my word for it.
