Roll up and tune in to over two and a half hours of new 'Floyd' covers on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

KAOS Sound is over the moon to be broadcasting the entire
“A Momentary Lapse of Vinyl” compilation from Fruits de Mer Records. The programme will cover much of PF's “early years” with exquisite reworks that were previously only available to FDM Members.

Listen-In at 2200 UK Time on the 25th and 26th December for familiar music that will sound very different!

Record Store Day 2014

Record Store Day came into being in 2007 when over 700 independent stores in the USA came together to celebrate their unique culture. The UK followed suit and 2014 will see the seventh celebration of the UK's unique independent sector. This is the one day that all of the independently owned record stores come together with artists to celebrate the art of music.

Special vinyl and CD releases and various promotional products are made exclusively for the day and hundreds of artists across the globe make special appearances and performances.

Festivities include performances, meet & greets with artists, DJ's, in store quizzes and many other events.

Last week we found a local record store (remember them?) that had a massive collection of Pink Floyd vinyl on the shelves. We managed to find something we didn't already have and bought the 2011 Record Store Day issue of The Wall Singles Box Set.
