Today's work brings me to sunny Birmingham, the scene of my student days.

I studied Music and English Lit. It has only taken me 20 years to find a role which makes good use of my degree and I'm so happy to have got there in the end. I wasn't sure I'd ever really use the music element of my degree except as a hobby, but through years of retraining and gaining experience as a freelancer, I now find myself doing digital marketing for a brilliant music charity 🎶.

I'm hearing that a lot of people (myself included) want to shop locally as much as possible this Christmas and support small businesses.

So I've set this up as an info point for small independent businesses to let everyone in SE9 know if they're open for orders, what they're selling and how we can get hold of them.
