when markets are tough it's easy to start your research with stocks trading near a year low. How about flipping it and looking for shares trading near a year high instead? I offer you: Time Out (TMO), Gaming Realms (GMR), Marks Electrical (MRK) and NAHL (NAH).

You can read the AIM Prospector article on NAHL here: https://www.aimprospector.co.uk/product/29

it is a free download. Article is from September 2022 but does a good job illustrating how we got to a year high.

a lot of AIM shares getting a kicking. One to highlight would be Frontier Developments(FDEV) though it worries me. The driving force of this business was always Elite/Elite Dangerous etc. But the latest versions of that game have NOT been well received, nor have other titles like F1 Manager. I fear that Frontier is competing in an over-saturated market. That's NEVER good for participants. Remember the reputation that the gaming industry had in the early noughties? That it was a money pit.

The shares are now at a SIX year low at just under 400p. They peaked at 3,500p during the teeth of COVID!

Wynnstay Group (WYN) shares down near a 52-week low. One of AIM's very best companies. Wynnstay has increased its dividend to shareholders every year for the last 19 years. As a supplier of feed and fertiliser it is highly relevant, supported by two global supertrends: population growth and protein demand.

good conversation with another investor today regarding Belvoir (BLV). Here I am buying it in 2018: https://twitter.com/aimprospector/status/960901192304951296 since then it has done just over 15% per annum compound price growth. Add in the dividends and that's more like 20% per annum. Sure, you had to buy it cheap but Belvoir has been brilliant. Of course, I sold it around 120p or something from memory.

Have you traded Belvoir? It seems to be one of 'those' that often gives the opportunity.

“have bought shares in Belvoir Lettings $BLV.L believe that the company is growing and 7%+ yield is sustainable. Surely worth 115p+?”

anther rise in the GetBusy (GETB) share price today, where I own shares. Last time I looked, putting the company on 3x recurring revenues + 1x non-recurring revenues + cash gives a 'fag packet' valuation of 125p, versus 75p being paid today.

They could be bought for 68p last week. H1 results due on September 5th.

any thoughts on advertised bid:offer spreads? It's nice to know what they will be but with some AIM shares the bid:offer gets wider and tighter throughout the day, moving like an accordion!

H&T is a great example. I bought shares on Thursday. As I don't have a means of getting a live spread, when I bought at 408p, I _think_ the bid:offer was 404p:411p. But at one point in the day, according to londonstockexchange.com it was 407p:408p and on Friday it closed at 410p:419p.

H&T (HAT) announces H1 results on August 8th.

I'll start another thread for discussion of the merit of the share as an investment.
