Lancashire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following the death of 30-year-old Jake Carroll, who was found with critical injuries in the early hours of Saturday 18th May on Preston New Road in Little Plumpton. Jake, who was from Southport, was discovered by officers at around 2.20am, unresponsive and suffering from a significant head injury. Emergency services were called, and he was taken to hospital, but despite the best efforts of medical staff, Jake sadly died on the evening of Thursday 23rd May....
