All we can say is a huge THANK YOU to Derek Mitchell Group Ltd and SP Energy Networks for your service and kindness today.

From call handlers to the guys on the ground, you were all awesome and even gave us a laugh when things were pretty horrid.

See you again soon for more (rather expensive and scary) work! Just another chapter in the story in our attempt to save Lovers Lane Studios. ❤️

We’re gonna be closed for the rest of the day, unfortunately! 😩

Some big and expensive power issues to deal with! We hope to be getting it sorted today / tonight and will hopefully be back in action for an exciting session on Sunday with Bloodthread, but massive apologies to Chivo who were supposed to be kicking these sessions off this evening!

Hope we can reschedule with Chivo soon and I’m excited to share with everyone one of the many things Studio 1 is doing to say thank you for all the support for our campaign to save the studio…

BROKEN SOUNDS / A free workshop for neurodiverse adults
Monday 16th June, 10.00am – 5.00pm. Lovers’ Lane Studio, 28-32 Rae Street, Dumfries
A neurodiverse-led workshop for neurodiverse adults of any or no musical ability. Just bring your curiosity and an openness to exploring sound. This space is for those who have felt “othered”, “too much”, “not enough” and want to reclaim and celebrate their voice through sound and shared creativity.

I wasn’t going to post this and I’m sorry it’s a bit emotional, but I had to say it and just get SOMETHING out there.

I have so much planned that I want to do to give back as much as I can. Not only to the kind people who have donated to the fund, but for anyone that I’ve had the pleasure of working with over the years.

I’ll be posting more videos and keeping you all updated on everything now that we’ve got this sad mess out of the way. 😂

But seriously. Thank you everyone and I’m really trying to be okay with all of this. It may not feel comfortable taking donations but I have to remember that it’s not just about me.

I promise some positive and happy videos are coming, with all the things I have planned over the next month or so here in all of the studios.
