We're back and unlike our government, we couldn't forget some of the amazing that are seemingly back to being underappreciated for the amazing work they do and have been doing in such a difficult time.

We're starting off with Rich of the Lincolnshire Bombers American Football Club - not only a force on the field but also a huge force helping the people of Yorkshire with the ambulance service.

Next is Leicester Falcons defensive back, Chris. He's been stopping receivers and the spread of the virus by helping the NHS in London as well as the east of London.

Finally is Mustapha, Strong Safety for the Manchester Titans American Football Club. He has spent the summer testing cancer patients lungs for pre-operative assessments.

These are just three of many amazing key workers that deserve the recognition for what they have do and do daily.

Yet again, thank you!

The trilogy. Here are your next 🦸

First up is Charlotte, a Linebacker from the University of Lincoln Colonials American Football. Not only does she contain the quarterback, she's also doing her part containing the spread of the virus as a healthcare assistant in her local hospital. Her job includes providing personal care, emotional support and assisting doctors and nurses for the coronavirus patients.

Next is Dan Saxton, a Tight End for the Jurassic Coast Raptors. He’s currently working on the front line anaesthetic ODP working on the emergency COVID-19 intubation team in Dorset. Instead of dominating Linebackers, he’s been busy dominating the outbreak by helping the ICU nurses and help run a hectic ever-changing theater department!

Kieron plays for both the Leicester Falcons and Warwickshire Bears American Football as an offensive lineman. Although he cannot stop the bull-rush this summer, he’s doing his part stopping the spread of COVID-19 working as a physiotherapist in Warwickshire. He specialises in rehabilitating those who have suffered a stroke.

KCL Regents American Football Club and Bournemouth Bobcats Alumnus Adam is a running back who currently plays for Solent Thrashers. Instead of breaking tackles in the open field, Adam is helping victims of the virus back to full health as a physiotherapist in the Intensive Care Unit.

You are all amazing.

Protection Personified. Your next 🦸

Aaron is a Paramedic who is digging deep in the trenches of this coronavirus outbreak in Coventry. Aaron ahas also played in trenches for Coventry Jets, Worcestershire Black Knights American Football and planned to play for the Berkshire Renegades American Football Club before the outbreak.

Although Jake is currently unable to protect his backfield at the Chester and Flintshire Romans, he is protecting us on the front line as a learning disability nurse at the Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board.

Jamie is a lineman for the Glasgow Tigers American Football Club. Typically, he works in theaters as aanaesthetic ODP but volunteered to help out in the intensive care unit.

Nathan is a student nurse that is currently looking after the elderly in relief of the virus. When he's not saving lives, he's protecting and snapping the ball to his quarterback at Clyde Valley Blackhawks!

It's the offensive line's duty to protect and these heroes right here are doing more than enough to keep us protected.

Introducing our first 🦸‍♂️

Alex is a linebacker for Sheffield Hallam Warriors and Manchester Titans American Football Club. He's currently working in Sheffield ensuring the mental health of his patients.

Nominated by his wife, Nick is a defensive end* for the Birmingham Bulls and has been working on the front line as a paramedic ensuring the health of the country.

Jack is a uniballer at the University of Lincoln Colonials American Football and like many, his studies have been put on hold. He has been helping flatten the curve by transporting victims of the virus to care facilities.

Toby is a offensive lineman who played for the KCL Regents American Football Club. He is a Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Registrar who is performing emergency operations during this time.

Just want to take the time to thank you all. You deserve this recognition every day of the year, not just in a pandemic.
