The schedule for As Night Falls: The Auction has been finalised, with the doors of Elvaston Castle opening at 6.00pm.

The LARP itself will commence at 7.00pm and will last for four hours. There will then be prizes handed out for best costumes and winners of the raffle drawn, before doors close at 11.30pm.

We will also meet the day after at 12.30 at Cosmo in Derby, for an all-you-can-eat buffet.

"Your empathy is the flaw in your logic."

Introducing the vampire Styx, monarch of the intellectual Tepes dynasty.

As Night Falls: The Auction is a rules-light live roleplay (LARP) set in the modern day. This will be a purely social-based LARP, with zero combat, allowing participants the opportunity to immerse themselves in the bloody world of vampire politics, within a gothic stately home.

LARP is akin to live theatre, except there is no audience and everyone involved is part of the cast. Each of the participants dress as their character and the outcome of the story is determined by their actions. There is no script or predetermined narrative, but a story told by the participants through their character’s actions.
