What an amazing weekend! I told you we'd be dropping bombs 🤣💥
The feedback so far has been overwhelmingly positive and thats a real boost as i sit exhausted reflecting on what we achieved now its all packed down. As ever, compromises had to be made along the way and that meant some work couldnt be fully finished for the day, but this was all put together in three weeks, just too good an opportunity not to take!
This was always a teaser to see what was possible, whether there was scope for more, whether i enjoyed the proces or not. More work has already gone up, and be sure we didnt go to all that trouble to only use the space once! This just gives you a reason to come back...
I want to say a massive thank you to all the artists, the Dead Pixels Crew, those braving the rain to transform a few grotty corners of our city and showing true dedication to the craft.
Special thanks to my amazing crew, and specifically to those people who went above and beyond into the early hours to make my ridiculous ideas a reality.
Huge respect to for their hospitality and support. Big love to the management on site for the opportunity, trust and space to try something a little different. Finally, thanks to everyone who showed out to the event! The atmosphere was amazing, despite the unfortunate weather! ❤️
