Simon’s Video Kitchen - The Origin Story
Or “How London’s and Brighton’s friendliest videography service came to be.”
I actually began my love affair with film in front of the camera. I originally trained as an actor and have been in films, soaps and a bunch of commercials.
Many years ago I bought myself a DSLR. Upon discovering it could shoot video I dragged a couple of willing friends to the woods and we made a short film. Although it didn't win any oscars (it was a particularly competitive year) I had the best day ever. Turns out that what I thought was a love of acting was in fact a love of filmmaking!
As the years roll by and many shoots have passed, my kit and I have changed, but every day behind the camera is still the best day ever.
